I Like ItI Don’t Like It
Matthew Puma

Because today is Catharsis Day at the convention, we figured we better do like Aristotle says in the Poetics and hit you with a double dose of pity and fear so you can purge both your raw, untamed emotion and your hope that life in America will ever get better for anybody. So, to that end, here's a video of Chris Matthews talking to a trio of PUMAs -- women who love Hillary Clinton whilst simultaneously hating the policies for which Clinton has fought. They are the total hot mess of the Democratic Convention.

Watch as they level bizarre accusations at Barack Obama (RELATED: "CNN debunks false report about Obama"), and then refuse to accurately cite the source of their claims. Maybe it was Lanny Davis or something! See, I don't know, and neither do they, but I can tell you, if I had tried to apply the same sort of "reasoning" in college, my professors would have knocked me unconscious and tossed me in a ditch, far from town.

Anyway, if possible, you should burn your computer after watching this. That is all.

Because today is Catharsis Day at the convention, we figured we better do like Aristotle says in the Poetics and hit you with a double dose of pity and fear so you can purge both your raw, untamed emo...

The mouthy, neurotic blond is high on endorphins now that Matthews gave her 15 minutes of fame.

She will dress up tonight in a little black dress, smoke many cigarettes, drink much scotch and imagine she is Ann Coulter.

When I heard the screaming, I hurried into the TV room to see if Chris was being attacked. I immediately thought that was Ann "The Crying Game" Coulter. I loved how Matthews continued to bash her and her posse throughout the night. MSNBC rules. Did anyone notice that Rachel Maddow got to come up to the second floor and sit with Chris and Keith last night? Perhaps she needed to get away from Buchanan and the smell of Old Spice. I'm so looking forward to her new MSNBC show.

LOL doneyflyin!
And she's still spewing her anti-Obama venom on her website.
I guess since Hillary is supporting Obama now, she and her PUMAS will, in a sense, be working AGAINST her.

the anti-hillary supporters against obama for john mccain, who has consistantly disrespected women all his life.

I think that these types of groups will do anything to get on tv and that the networks should just flat out not give them any airtime, period. Same goes for anne coulter. they have nothing worthwhile to say so I say to everyone: let's write to the networks and tell them, we are sick of these morons getting on tv to spew their hateful agenda. There are so many more important things to think about, and the networks would be wise to start employing real journalists who report real news, and facts.

another funny thing about this woman is she admits she is not open minded! she says , maybe some people are open minded," pure ignorance at its best. she should get a job on fox news, better yet she probably qualifies to work in bush's justice department.

the strangest thing is that if they have 3,000,000 die-hard hillary supporters, why dont they each give hillary $3, and retire her debt???????? the numbers of these clinton supports for mccain is wildly exagerated.

I saw this exchange live. She may very well have such a report. Obama probably did go to a Muslim school. I went to a Catholic school and I am not Catholic. I don't think it matters unless he's found to be a card carrying member of some terrorist group. He's a Christian now, by choice. Muslims are good people as are Mormons, but everyone is hung up on labeling the candidates to destroy them. This woman's response to Chris, or lack of a response, just goes to show the ignorance that pervades the American voting public.

These geniuses went and got themselves on Fox News and have become part of the “Republican Attack Machine." Someone willing to put personality politics in front of issue politics is exactly what this election cycle needs. Karl Rove, Roger Ailes and Grover Norquist must be praying to their mountain of ill-gotten treasure every night for people just like this.
Roger Ailes: Well geez Mr. Rove, how are we going to launch a semi-credible smear campaign against those stupid Dems? I think we’ve used up all of our political capital by falsifying intelligence about Iraq, instituting a national Gestapo for “terrorists” and attacking the civil liberties and foundations of democracy. I don’t think people will vote for us anymore.
Karl Rove: Don’t worry my little pork chop; the Dems will come up with something.
The Republican “wedge strategy” is based off of muddying the waters around the issues and creating barriers for the opposition. Why are they giving them the ammunition they need to promote their ideals? The “sour grapes” politics espoused by this group are exactly what the right is counting on. They should take themselves off the Democratic roles and join the ranks of the independents, as they are obviously either a Republican group trying to execute that strategy or an independent group who thinks they are a Democrats. I don’t much mind either but please stay out of the political discourse for the Democratic Party since they obviously don’t believe in it.

All that matters is that he is an American citizen. If he is not, then he can't be president. The racism and ignorance of this woman who has the cajones to actually not vote for a man because he is muslim goes to show just how uninformed and brainwashed these people are that listen to rumours without doing further research. I too have heard the claim that Obama attended a school in Jakarta and listed himself as Muslim. EVen if he did, that wouldn't be a big deal if you consider a child at the age of 11 might want to have himself listed as a muslim almost 40 years ago in an area that is 90 percent muslim. No one hated muslims until 2001 when they were blackmailed by the zionist press simply to force our American men and women to go fight a war for Israel's benifit. Phillip Giraldi, Ray McGovern, and Michael Sheur, all ex-CIA, all said that the Iraq War was fought for no other reason than to help Israel take over the region and steal more land. Look at the history of israel. Look at all the false flags they've done and blamed on Arabs. Achille Lauro, Entebbe, Berlin disco, London bombings, 9-11, Madrid, USS Liberty, marine barracks bombing in Lebanon, and the list goes on and on. Go to www.nogw.com or www.serendipity.li for the long list.

Some words were Ieft out: I do not believe Obama is a Moslem. I think that makes no difference. He just is unqualified.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 11:13 AM on 08/28/2008

Who has ever been "qualified" to be president? Was Bush qualified? Bush may have been a governor, but look at the mess he has left our country in, due to his qualifications! LMAO!!!

IIRC, Lincoln didn't have much political experience. :)
Neither did George Washington.
Neither did Harry Truman
Neither did Eisenhower.
Somehow, they didn't turn out too badly.

Bill Clinton may have been a governor, also, but I think he did a pretty darn good job as Prez. :)

Was JFK qualified?
Shuppy - What are OBAMA'S qualifications and how are they deficient. If you know he is unqualified, then you must know all about him.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 01:05 PM on 08/28/2008

its amazing the people who always say he isnt qualified or say they know nothing about him obviously DO NOT READ. he has written two books and has been written about and his own website details EVERYTHING. anyone who says they dont know anything about him or where he stands on anything obviously is illiterate. the information is there, you just have to read. but the repubs win by keeping the populace ignorant. the ignorant are their base

If you any doubts about bias on this blog, this proves it. I do Obama is a Moslem, and I don't think that makes a difference anyway. But I also believe that his qualifications for president are (1) a social organizer from the black power south side of Chicago and (2) a civil rights lawyer who never ever got to practice as he ran for public office immediately. He muffed his chance to be a law professor by being undistinguished. The only thing he has done right is be a politician. He certainly has guts to feel he has the qualifications to be president.

These idiots, and there are plenty of them, represent the same threat to Obama that Ross Perot meant to Bush the First. They will suck away votes we need. Thank you Hillary, thank you Bill, thank you your paid hatchet men, and women, for practically endorsing John McCain during Hill's campaign, and impuning the ability of Obama to lead this country. You have no shame, you are very good politicians (not a compliment).

Anyone who's been involved in politics at any level has run across a small percentage of "driven" people - who have that gleam in their eye, answering the call of whatever hidden demons that sit deep within each personal psyche.

God bless them. When they're on your side, there are no more loyal allies. But when they're not (or when they're just part of the scenery) they can be major distractions and even pains in the proverbial butt.

But they do address envelopes, make phone calls and vote. And often their hearts are in the right place.

Except., of course, if it's your guy they're targeting to do real damage to.

1) The main organizers for PUMA didn't volunteer for or donate money to anything but republican causes

2) They have proven to be no more than dozens in number.

3) The republicans have much more to worry about from Ron Paul and Barr than this. Media coverage for that has been nonexistent to protect their interests and sponsors.

What if we all just stop talking about them?

There are only about 60 of them, maybe 100 if you include the alike-blogs.

As the din in their echo chamber gets louder and louder, they will fall away and that will be that.

Meanwhile, the light of day only encourages them.

they are a joke......seriously, an act that should be taken as satire, nothing more, nothing less.

MSM, Why are you giving them ANY airtime? You wouldn't be trying to "fan the flame" for ratings, now would you?

These three are obviously not Democrats. They are Ann Coulter wannabe's.
When will people realize how racist it is to imply it is bad to be muslim.
Perhaps one should remember the Timothy McVeighs of the US.
Should we condemn all Christians because he was a kook?

WAKE UP
