It's Complicated: Denise Richards Reality Show Not Canceled But Not Renewed — Yet

Update:: Broadcasting & Cable's Alex Weprin reports that "It's Complicated" has not been canceled, contrary to the New York Post report:

The truth isn't quite that simple. A representative for E! says that the show has not been cancelled, but its future is still unclear.

"No, it hasn't been canceled," the spokesperson says. "It performs well for us and decisions are still being made regarding a second season"

According to the network, the premiere episode of It's Complicated was the third most watched premiere in network history, and has averaged over 1 million total viewers for each new episode the rest of the season.

Earlier, the New York Post reported that E! had canceled the reality show:

E! has pink-slipped Denise Richards' reality show.

Richards, who went to court last year to fight ex-husband Charlie Sheen for rights to have their children appear on the show "It's Complicated," turned out to be a less-than-stellar reality star.

A show low-light was her confrontation with an editor for a magazine over how she has been portrayed in the tabloid press.

I love this show. It's doing exactly what she was aiming for to me. I was skeptical before I watched it because I did think she was going to be a snotty arrogant Hollywood type woman that I would hate because she's so perfect.
After the first show I watched I was hooked. She is hilarious! I was so shocked at how funny and normal she is! She would be awesome to hang out with because she's so just like everyone else. I was bummed when I read it would be cancelled. It's so nice to see someone in Hollywood being normal like us, it makes her seem more like a real person and not just some "pretty girl".
I love the show and hope it gets renewed for another season because I can't wait to see a what she does next.

I'm sorry. I watched back to back shows that I had tivo'd and I really like this show. I like Denise. She's had some tough breaks. Charlie Sheen anyone? And I think she's great. And no I don't think she's a home wrecker. I think she did a dumb thing dating the ex of a friend (altho they weren't best friends like the media portrayed, but people do dumb things) I'm a little upset that it's getting canceled. And I'm not even a fan of reality shows, but this one I liked.

When your only real talent is "being pretty", and you start getting up in years, and your hotness starts fading away to other younger starlets, and you haven't bagged the trophy husband, it's more than complicated.

They should change the name of the show to "I'm Freeeeeeeeekin' Out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I'm not surprised. She lost a lot of work when she slept with her best friend's husband and tried to justify it. Even Hollywood doesn't like that. Besides lots of people still like Heather. Glad it was canceled.

I have to confess that I am glad the show has been canceled. I never watched, never wanted to either. But... she tried to justified this stupid show and putting her children on the spotlight by saying that she needed to provide for her children. Well.... I guess the more than $50,000 dollars that Charlie gave her every month was not enough to support them. Hey Denise, I would not mind being Charlie's ex and for that reason there are many women struggling right now to make ends meet that would not mind at all. You are lucky, especially considering that you have not talent.
