Kucinich's Democratic Convention Speech (VIDEO)

Dennis Kucinich took to the podium today at the Democratic Convention and fired up the crowd with a rousing speech. Kucinich's enthusiasm reached a crescendo as he repeatedly exhorted the crowd with cries of "Up with America!" In case his words were not evidence enough of his fire, his body language put all remaining doubts to rest.

since the MSM seems to refuse to air Kucinich's speech, I'm going to be sure to send it to everyone I know. Maybe we all need to make sure this gets out there.

I caught it live because I was watching CSPAN. I was yelling at the TV: "Go Dennis". He was fired up and he got the crowd fired up. Too bad it was at 4:45 in the afternoon and not prime time.

This is the only one we can claim has been consistantin the call for impeachment of Bush which the majority has wanted for years but without the support of the other dems in congress his cries for it have gone unheeded. I wish there were many more with his strength of charactor to stand againest many in the desire to get our country away from the plundering fools we have in the administration now.

Dennis is my favorite Democrat. I hope Obama creates a Department of Peace with Kucinich in charge. It's time America had a cabinet person who represented the voice of people who want peace not war.

that's an interesting idea: a peace czar. mandate: develop and implement peaceful strategies to secure american interests at home and abroad.

It would be a PR move to create a department of peace. Can you imagine heads of state of Russia, China, or Iran meeting with Dennis Kucinich and saying "Who are you again -- the 'goodwill ambassador'? Why doesn't America have a good-looking person in that role? Even UNICEF has Nicole Kidman and David Beckham!"

We already have a department that can achieve peace, given the orders to do so. The State Department ought to have that mandate, and it would have more credibility and authority to make actual agreements.

clearly some sort of national treasure, along with Ted
Kennedy and only a few others.

i'll never be considered a 'liberal' and i'm not a kucinich supporter, BUT...i really do have a lot of respect for him...he says what he means and believes it, and is not afraid to take a knock for his beliefs-that is TRULY rare.

Clear example: Any gaffe by Obama is made into the biggest deal in the world, however NOTHING is covered about Mccain's gaffes and the fckd up things he has done in his lifetime. I was riveted by that speech, but. then again, I was riveted by the impeachment proceedings, even if Washington and the compliant accomplice MSM was yawning like Scarelett O'Hara ata high school dance. Bravo Mr K! You are this generation's Jimmy Steward (Mr Smith Goes to Washington), with a touch of Henry Fonda in 12 Angry men, and a touch of Al Pacino--"I'm out of order? You're out of order! This whole damn courtroom's out of order!"
Health and Human Services is going to Hillary--that's her baby and you can't give it up for adoption.
He needs to move up to the Senate and be majority leader.
This is what patriotism looks like, America; not some corny old flagpin. This man is making our forefathers smile and say "Finally! Somebody gets it!"
