Left-wing talking head and former Bill Clinton campaign strategist James Carville was spotted wearing Puma sneakers off camera while he told CNN on Monday evening that he was unimpressed with the convention, saying, "If this party has a message, it's done a hell of a job hiding it tonight, I promise you that." Known for being sporty yet fashionable, Pumas are of course also associated with supporters of Hillary Clinton who do not support Barack Obama (Party Unity My Ass). Carville, whom I once so admired, long ago stopped being a real asset to the Democratic party. And the book his wife published trashing Sen. Obama most assuredly met with his approval. He has mixed and mingled so long now with the likes of his wife's close friends Cheney and Libby and others, he's not the same fighter for the Democratic Party values that he once was. This is something I noticed quite some time before Democratic primary season started. He no longer seemed to have the same vigor and fighting spirit that he did in days of old. But for him to be so negative, so unsupportive about Obama, just because his choice didn't come out on top, is hard to accept for those of us to whom he used to be a hero of sorts. Such bitterness, such sore losers.

Carville and Matlin are an industry. There is conflict of interest written all over both of them that they cancel each other out. Who cares what they do, are involved with or say.
