Bill Clinton did not need to prove anything, how we long for those eight years when he was our President. Yet, He did another nine yards and so much more. Bill and Senetor Clinton stepped aside to have Barack Obama bask in the glory tonight. The whole world will be watching Obama tonight.
Something to be learned from Joe Biden, so sincere so respectful and paid the proper respect to President Clinton and his friend and colegue Hillary Clinton.

I have never been so proud to be an American. Last night was just beautiful and if they don't win that means that the electorate is dumber than I thought they were. I have a new respect for Bill Clinton, for sure he can mesmerize a room.
I adore the Obamas and the Bidens how I pray they will be our new first and second families. Joe's son brought me to tears for I remember when his wife and baby girl were killed. A lovely family.

Michelle is so gorgeous, what class she has, she doesn't need a designer to pick her clothes she always is so chic.

Please God Obama/Biden

My god, what is wrong with you? You can't wait for McCain to win? Because YOU didn't get the candidate YOU wanted? You would rather send America into four more years of the worst foreign and domestic policy because you think Obama's supporters treated Clinton unfairly? How childish and how sad. If what you say happens, and you get your revenge, and you come here and gloat, what then? What happens the next day, and the day after that, as this country spirals into four more years of misery, will your "sweet revenge" carry you through? And as you watch this country suffer, including millions upon millions of people who did NOT treat Clinton unfairly, will you say it was worth the cost because YOU didn't get the candidate YOU wanted?

For shame. You, and all your ilk, are selfish, thoughtless, and hateful.

If McCain wins, and you lose your job, or your health insurance, or your house, I ask you: would that be worth it?

What partisan nonsense!
Remember Bill's comparison of Obama's victory to Jesse Jackson's impossible crusade? Remember Hillary's "Hardworking white voters"?
Remember Hillary's "John McCain has a lifetime of service, Barack Obama has a speech he gave"?
You think Hillary was treated unfairly? I think the Obama campaign was downright saintly in giving them so much convention time. They didn't have to do it.

I find it pathetic and predictable that the Republicans, who were cheering Hillary Clinton on when she was attacking Barack Obama, while doing their best to recruit away her supporters, are now up in arms against her now that she's strongly supporting Barack Obama, showing their ugly, sexist side once more and reminding us why backing John McCain is such a bad idea.

Here's what Republicans who formerly cheered Hillary on had to say about her after her speech:

"like Nurse Ratched..." - Rush Limbaugh
"it was all about her..." - Bill Kristol

... and a lot worse out there on smaller weblogs, such as "Shrillary", "feminazi", etc.

If you notice any other Republican attacks on Hillary, please point them out. Let's collect them, and share them with other Clinton supporters who might be considering voting Republican this year.

A vote for McCain *IS* a vote for Limbaugh, Bill Kristol, and the rest of the nuthouse! And John McCain is attached to all of them, at the hip?!

So, do you think John McCain going to reject and renounce Limbaugh and Kristol? Not likely...

Swerinjer, it's time to grow up and join the adults. Hillary had the good grace, and class to step aside and support Obama. You, who claim to be a supporter of hers, do her a disservice with your endless diatribes, which are based on much personal rancor, and no substance.

Just think about it. A McCain win could mean that you won't have the right to posts like yours. You could see open forums, like these, disappear, and your right to dissent, silenced.

I am not a fan or a supporter of Senator Clinton. However, I believe that it is unfortunate that the leadership of the Demopublican could not allow delegate who worked so hard and are so passionate to have a full, honest rollcall vote at this convention. I really wanted to believe in the Obama. I really did. But his support of Big Brother (in the new gutting of the FISA) and his race to center has left me believe. This scripted and contrived show to nominate him by acclamation just reinforces my support of the best candidate we have had in years, a man who could be so much more President than this nation of sheep deserve.

Ok, people. We've all had a chance to vent our spleens, for whatever reasons. It's now time for some serious reflection.

Please, people, we have faced eight years of the most abysmal governing in the history of this great country. We have been brought to the very precipice of disaster. We have all had our constitutional rights slowly stripped from us, one by one. Our economy has been plundered and frittered away with no thought to the people whose money it is, being sucked away.

Now, we, as the citizens of these great United States have the opportunity to take back that government "of the people, for the people, and by the people." Yes, it is we who are the government. It is we who elect these officials to do our will, not theirs. It is we, every one of us, who must once again take an active part in OUR government.

We will have a new president, and it is our duty, as citizens, to help this president govern properly and fairly. With hope, we will have a president who will have an ear opened to his people, ever mindful of their wellbeing, and open to their dialogue.

If you feel that it's not your job to take a part in the government of this country, then what little you now have will disappear, and what you get, in return, will be little more than you deserve.

What is needed is an apology from you for assuming you know the minds of the rest of us.

I'm excited and thrilled the way this convention is going, I had a little doubt in my mind before it started listening to talk radio and certain foolish ignorant media such as (Fox news, Rush, & Hannity). This convention been a success and out of all the speeches, President Clinton and Sen Biden speech really stuck out the most and made me feel proud to be a democrat. President Clinton words were very welcoming and unifying towards the damage party in healing it. And he made sure to point out all the damage done by the republican party and why we need change. The Clinton's really did a good job and I'm proud of them. DEMOCRATS WILL TAKE OVER!!!!!!!!!
