Obama Nominated By Acclamation, Accepts Nomination (VIDEO)

Hillary Clinton moved to suspend the roll call vote and nominate Barack Obama by acclamation. The motion was passed, and Nancy Pelosi formally extended the nomination to Obama. Obama accepted the nomination, becoming the first African-American to represent a major party for president.

BIden is an exquisite choice on several levels. But a person can't see that when they're busy spinning ... and it looks like you might be a bit dizzy there.

Tonight was a remarkable night in American history. What a tremendous world that the very proceedings that once were closed and private are now so accessible. Watching Biden and Obama open up government will be a delight. If they can deliver 1/3 of their agenda, we will be in much better shape than were are now, in August 2008.

Very touching indeed, I grew up in a generation where race never mattered. Although I won't be voting for either Obama or McCain because I believe they are both contributing to the problems of massive government spending, I would like to see him win just from a historical sense.

Yes, everyone leave Hillary and Bill alone. They've served, campaigned, lost and redeemed themselves, as far as I'm concerned.
