To Trogenhorse and the others in Denver -- thanks for giving us the true facts on what's going on..TV and commentators don't show all nuances. To the "others" -- the suspension of the rules and the act by Senator Clinton demonstrate to us the "process of the democratic process" inclusive of the Michigan and Florida delegates. Moreover, the history lesson by President Clinton and current advancing and framing of the domestic and international argument -- great stuff -- no hype. Those at and over 18 -- register -- then actually vote -- Move the Electoral College folks to the point of no confusion about what your popular vote demonstrates --- Obama/Biden. We got class -- orators and action-oriented folks --- FOR the PEOPLE.

The Catharsis is complete.

Thank you Clintons! I was not terribly impressed yesterday, but the roll call thing was amazing and Bill Clinton said everything he needed to say. I am truly amazed.

The future starts now. Are you ready?

now... time for my take on this:
Bill and Hill are doing what they need to do so if they win she can be a great figure in the democratic party. If they lose they will not be blamed because they did what they can and they can run in 2012 when whoever is the democratic nominee will become president because people will want change from 8 years of a republican president. The Clintons know what they're doing, its politics whether you like it or not.

You're right, and I know it. I am looking to November right now, and nothing else. They have proven to be far too much of a distraction, but it's done now. If they distract, we only have ourselves to blame. Don't worry about it now - November is what's important.

The Hill&Bill show is hoping O falls on his face (much like Carter) during his first term, at which time they'll resurface like Mighty Mouse to "save the day".
We'd be wise to watch Hill&Bill like a hawk to make sure they don't "help" O fail.
I don't trust the Clintons. They're the worst kind of hypocrites - "freetrade" neoliberals.

I disagree. It appears now that the two of fought to the bitter end(they're bitter end wasn't were most was), but they did finally give up. Both Hillary and Bill seemed sincere to me, and Bill's speech tonight, I feel, sealed it.

Is he ready?
From transcripts of the Illinois State Senate:

March 19, 1997: “...on Senate Bill 1000…I was trying to vote Yes on this and I was recorded as a No.”
March 20, 1997: “On Senate Bill 700, I should have pressed a yes vote; pressed a Present vote.”
May 28, 1997: “My button seems to be sticking...I was recorded as not voting on that; I would have voted Aye.”
October 30, 1997: “I’m originally recorded – as a Yes vote on this...I wasn’t paying sufficient attention.
November 14, 1997: “On Senate bill 452, I was out in the hall when the vote came up…I would like to be recorded as a Yes vote.”
May 22, 1998: “…I was off the Floor and missed [the vote]. I just wanted the record to record that I would have voted in the affirmative.”
March 11, 1999: “I pressed the wrong button on that. I wanted to vote Yes.”
March 25, 1999: “I was actually trying to press the button. I will now ask that I be recorded as a Yes vote”
February 23, 2000: “…in my eagerness to stand up, I forgot to vote for the previous bill?”
February 24, 2000: “... I pressed the wrong button by accident. I’d like to be recorded as a Yes vote”
June 11, 2002: “I was not aware that I had voted No...I would have the record record that I intended to vote Yes”

My life story, is an object lesson in resilience, hope over fear….. Barack Obama

“…..He overcame the discrimination of an immigrant background, and a racially mixed family, as well as the loss of a father, sporadic poverty and the distractions of his teenage youth, to become a Harvard Magna *** Laude, a civil rights lawyer, a state senator and a US senator. This history is both a validation of his spirit AND of the national pursuit of the American dream for all. “Yes we can” is much more than a slogan in the context of his life.

His bio can be found at http://votesmart.org/bio.php?can_id=9490
His legislative experience is much greater than
Hillarys. See http://thomas.loc.gov

During the first (8) eight years of his elected service he sponsored over 820 bills. He introduced
233 regarding healthcare reform,
125 on poverty and public assistance,
112 crime fighting bills,
97 economic bills,
60 human rights and anti-discrimination bills,
21 ethics reform bills,
15 gun control,
6 veterans affairs and many others.
His first year in the U.S. Senate, he authored 152 bills and co-sponsored another 427. These included:
**the Coburn-Obama Government Transparency Act of 2006 (became law),
**The Lugar-Obama Nuclear Non-proliferation and Conventional Weapons Threat Reduction Act, (became law),
**The Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act, passed the Senate,
**The 2007 Government Ethics Bill, (became law),
**The Protection Against Excessive Executive Compensation Bill, (In committee), and many more.”
