Obama Nominated By Acclamation, Accepts Nomination (VIDEO)

Hillary Clinton moved to suspend the roll call vote and nominate Barack Obama by acclamation. The motion was passed, and Nancy Pelosi formally extended the nomination to Obama. Obama accepted the nomination, becoming the first African-American to represent a major party for president.

Well its obvious that those who are still crowing about Hilary not getting elected are Rush Limbaugh's republicans that registered and became " Hilary" voters. His plan to disrupt the election so Dems would lose because based on Bush's performance few people wanted a Republican again.

I was a Hiary supporter. But because of her and her call for unity I am solidly behind Obama.

I truly admire her resilience and now her wisdom and grace. She's overtaken her husband as a power in politics, and will deservedly have a huge role and influence in any Democratic administration or Congress.

After watching her stand there in the midst of that group waiting to release her delegates, I was struck by how hard it would be to stand there and do what she was doing. And I've been pretty hateful about her to this point.

I have been pretty hateful about Obama.....­.but last night Hillary made me realize that there is too much at stake for me to remain angry. She was personally telling me to get over it and do everything to make sure Obama wins in November.

Why the hate towards Obama, Is it because he is a Black man who had the audacity to run for the president of HIS country?

He ran a clean campaign, he never smeared Hillary, and he bent over backwards to be nice to her. He went out of his way to appease her. So why the hate towards this man?
