Police in Denver arrested an ABC News producer today as he and a camera crew were attempting to take pictures on a public sidewalk of Democratic senators and VIP donors leaving a private meeting at the Brown Palace Hotel.

Police on the scene refused to tell ABC lawyers the charges against the producer, Asa Eslocker, who works with the ABC News investigative unit.

Why would the police arrest these people-maybe Obama people asked them too-I don't really think the Denver police care who Obamas big contributors are. I'm kinda curious who his big money men are?

The MSM and corporate fascism are one and the same, so don't expect them to investigate or do anything about this. Their own agenda has come back to bite them, but they don't care. They don't need the story and they don't need the reporter. They can just go back to making up the news.

Looks as if the only "Change" in the "Vote for Change" slogan, is the money from a new batch of slimy lobbyists. Just another politician.

What do you expect when our leaders commit crimes - torture, perjury, obstruction of justices, abuse of power, treason, and don't receive any punishment, but aren't even charged with the crimes?

Corporate executives, police, and others realize that they can act with little fear of being held accountable. Beating up citizens - especially reporters that no one likes anyway - isn't a serious problem, is it? Especially when it OK to kill our prisoners - its just a matter of timing,, right? They are all guilty aren't they?

This is why Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are absolutely wrong and Congress should be held in contempt by the electorate. We should expect and demand accountability under the law.

The police officers should be suspended and charged with assault and false arrest.

The more that police are allowed to abuse their powers, the more innocent people who will have their rights violated.

Eventually nobody will have any rights left as this abuse will be accepted and expected.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

What a disgusting display of anti-Americanism. If you don't like someone using the sidewalk, or engaging in any lawful activity in public, the United States constitution guarantees your right to go outside and tell them so to their face. But you have ONLY that right, because we are not a nation of tiny dictators, but of equals. This is a founding principle of America, and presumably, our nation's policemen, politicians, elected city officials, and hotel workers all learned this in high school.

Here's an idea: ABC donates what is sure to be a huge settlement in their favor to a nonprofit organization dedicated to defending our First Amendment rights.

Meanwhile, pedestrians of Denver: watch your backs.

This is standard operating procedure.
Entry requirements into almost all police departments is only a HS diploma or a GED.
Plus, they have largely suspended all psychological testing of applicants, effectively lowering the standards because they can't fill all openings. Also, returning Iraq war vets can't pass them. PTSD.
Finally, no one in any administration has any intention of coming down on the cops. The cops work for them!

When are you all going to admit that the DNC is just as fouled up as the RNC? They've both had a monopoly, like two crime families, on power in this country for many decades and the two-party system with no term limits is tearing us apart.

Most people are too mindless to understand that there is little difference between the two major criminal parties. With all the scrutiny of the Internet, maybe this time it will be different.

Unacceptable!
Public sidewalk, public domain!
ABC should sue the pants off Colorado for this shocking act of censorship.
I had better not hear the phrase "Free Speech Zone" coming from the DNC in the wake of this incident!
I know, I know...the repubs burned out the Free Speech section of the Constitution the second they initiated their despicable "Free Speech Zones" but they"re republicans...what did you expect?

We"re better than they are!
Let that guy take all the pictures he wants and let"s start reminding the repubs what the Constitution is all about!
