Will John McCain ever live like common people? Will he ever do what common people do? Will he ever fail like common people, ever watch his life slide out of view, and dance and drink and screw, because there's nothing else to do? No! Because the man owns Million Dollar Parking Lots, a rarity among war heroes, who John McCain didn't even want to give a G.I. Bill to so that they could have a life beyond maybe working at his Super Non-Elite Arizona Parking Lot. Anyway, Robert Greenwald's Brave New Films as usual, is up on it.

This is dumb. The dude is worth like $40 million. Is it really that shocking that he owns an income-producing piece of land in Phoenix worth about as much as a 4 br home in San Francisco or Boston? Hell, I'd be GRATEFUL to pay $10 to park at a major-league park.

Dems have to be careful with this kind of thing. All he appears to be guilty of here is good money management. If we turn this into a referendum on capitalism, we'll lose. Seven houses is ridiculous - owning a parking lot is not. I hope this story dies a fast quiet death and we can move on to the other billion reasons to campaign like hell against McCain.
