On-Air Fights Erupt At MSNBC During Convention

I could go on for at least another piece, maybe two, about all the nonsense surrounding Hillary Hype '08--from Fox News's immediate, persistent commentary after the speech that she didn't mean it, didn't do nearly enough, and the whole party is screwed, to CBS News bringing on a body language expert to testify to the same.

But let's just agree they're all nuts and move on, shall we?

The media news-du-jour here is that the tensions at MSNBC--both political and personal--erupted, leading to several on-air fights between the talent. While Fox News stays ruthlessly on message, as I wrote yesterday , MSNBC has been looking increasingly like The Real World. (What happens when overpaid media personalities stop being polite--and start getting real....)

Conflict is the basis of all good drama.

So what if they don't agree?

I would hope not all pundits or commentators would agree.

Losers on a loser network. Their nightly viewers are what ....300,000 maybe. Send these guys the way of Dan Abrams.

I kind of like it when they call each other out. It's a lot more authentic than sitting their blowing sunshine kisses all over each other.

When I had an office job...50% of the people in that place couldn't stand the other 50%, so what is the big deal?

Even more than Chris and Keith...Rachel Maddow is cleaning the streets with Pat Buchanan and who could not possibly love the hell out of that?

Rachel Maddow is the Deet to the mosquito that is Pat Buchanan. Bring more of this on, MSNBC!

Joe Scarborough needs to go - NOW! I have never seen a more INCOMPETENT host on ANY network -ever.

FOX News' talking heads are ludicrous!

Here are their beloved talking points: Michelle Obama being angry, Michelle Obama not loving America much. They make a big fuss out of lies. And Republicans love them? They're supposed to be Evangelical Christians--CHRISTIANS, for Christ's sake!

These are two alpha males both who let too much of their own opinions into their commentary.

I prefer Chris as he is so passionate about politics he can't help himself sometimes and he does his best to correct himselft when he's gone over the line in letting his opinions shape his commentary. Chris also makes it obvious that it's his OPINION and not fact. He speaks from the heart and has a good enough personality to make it work.

Keith, unlike Chris, is an obnoxious bully who not only lets his opinions shape his commentary, but makes people think he is reporting the news, not his opinion. Keith's ego has gotten completely out of control and I refuse to watch his show anymore. He is rude, insulting, and SHORTSIGHTED in his hillary-hate and I can't stand him.

You can't have two opinionated alfa males hosting. Kick Keith off and let the likeable honest Matthews anchor alone.

Fox News DOES NOT stay on message.
Face it news is supposed to be about the real world.
This presidential race is by itself enough to make anyone get a little testy.
I'm proud that MSNBC has news reporters who openly and honestly speak their minds. Even if it does cause a an argument. That's politics at it's best!

Go MSNBC! Fox needs to take a permanent vacation. In the twin cities!

yes, the My Savior National Ba-rak Channel has stayed consistently on message - the message of proselytism of their chosen deity, the Obamasiah. What's the damage if a few of the apostles spat in front of the disciples???

Keith, leave Chris alone. He is the only other guy you've got on the whole network that has actually been calling republicans on their crap.

Chris needs to get back to the ground and do interviews like he has been. His problem on his show is that he asks a question to someone and then answers it himself. He cuts people off and doesn't allow for a proper exchange. He is good at drilling people when they get stupid.

Also Chris needs to do something about the spitting all over himself when he talks.
