I Like ItI Don’t Like It
Clinton

Newsweek:

When Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin arrived backstage for our NEWSWEEK Women & Leadership Event in Los Angeles last March, John McCain had just wrapped up the GOP nomination. Palin had yet to endorse McCain--she liked Mitt Romney--and as we waited in the green room, I urged her to "feel free" to make some news on stage. She grinned broadly--looking back, I guess it was a grin of the Cheshire Cat variety--and thanked me for the offer.

Once onstage, together with Arizona Gov. Janet Napolitano, Palin talked about what women expect from women leaders; how she took charge in Alaska during a political scandal that threatened to unseat the state's entire Republican power structure, and her feelings about Sen. Hillary Clinton. (She said she felt kind of bad she couldn't support a woman, but she didn't like Clinton's "whining.")

No one liked it in Vermont when Clinton was whining, not even Clinton supporters. They liked it when when she started getting tough and calling Obama out for his lack of experience..remember..the comment about substance versus "words".

This woman's career doesn't need to be "destroyed." The record needs to be put out there. I agree that HRC is uniquely suited to help amplify that record, but she cannot (and need not) be the only one.

Fortunately for us, Palin is a ROCK STAR in the "Culture of Life" crowd, and they will joyfully and loudly proclaim that she has holds the "correct views on Protection of the Unborn", starting with the RNCC.

sarah palin = elisabeth hasselback from the view....

if the pumas elect this elisabeth-hasselback-type as vp then we will get what we deserve. buh-bye birth control, good-bye family planning, buh-bye roe v. wade....i hope the msm media makes this comparison so these women will wake up....

on a separate note, c-span just reported that this past april palin spoke at a convention in texas and had to board a plane back to alaska because she went into labor.

don't all doctors advise pregnant women AGAINST flying after your second trimester?!? this is somewhat disturbing....

I really think this labor-on-a-plane thing is urban folklore. First, if true, that's incredibly stupid--once water has broken (which is their claim, that she spoke AFTER her water broke and then went on to board the commercial jet) infection is very common--and what airline lets a woman board a plane in labor? Don't tell me she already had four kids and could hide it! So my question to the Gov is, #1 is this true and #2, why would you risk having a baby on a plane or risking the safety of the other passengers in case they had to make an emergency landing?

I think that Ms. Palin should be able to do anything she wants, but I do question why a mother OR a father with five kids, one of whom is 4 months old and disabled, would be willing to run for VP now? Sounds to me like Ms. P has a pretty big ego!!

Maybe this can be one of the first questions Tom Br ok aw asks her on her first MTP appearance.

Bro kaw: Gover nor Pa lin. Is it truth or myth that you did in fact bravely and selflessly, with great fortitude and courage bordering on that of your running mate, P *O *W H* E *R O Joh n Mc C, continue with your speech after your water broke?

This was reported by several MSM news sources yesterday.

You forgot one part. M SN bc reported yesterday that the fact that she continued to give her speech at that convention, as her water broke, proves just how gritty and gutsy "GAL" she is. Speaking as a woman, mother and medical professional, I'd say that's more indicitive of her recklessness and total disregard for not only her own well being, but the safety of her unborn child.

Please, too much information. What next? Praise for openly b r *eas t feeding her infant at a city council meeting?

According to Daily Kos there is a rumor that the baby actually belongs to Palin's 17 year old daughter.

Hillary

Repeal Bush tax cuts for the wealthy
Provide Universal health care for every American
Get the troops out of Iraq
Pro choice

Palin
Make the Bush tax cuts permanent
Market based heat care for those who can afford it
Keep the troops there indefinately with permanent bases
Anti choice

If you were a Hillary supporter, there's no way you can vote Palin and say you are following logic.
