I quail at the thought!
Steny Hoyer is one of the biggest GW Bush supporters in Congress. Why is he getting off the 'dumb' wagon now?
Ooh, ooh.... I got it... the strategy!
It's like this...
"You're not allowed to criticise me because I was a PoW and you're not allowed to criticise my VP choice because she's a pretty mom of 5." Nobody's allowed to say anything unflattering about anyone the repubs run because they'll simply squawk like a three pound chicken laying a four pound egg and all morons will rush (pun intended) to their side. It's so clever!
You can get pills for when you get the strategy!
Hello You!! No doubt I'll see you further down.
If Palin is such a bad choice why is everyone talking about her, INSTEAD of the DNC, and The One's greatest adventure.(er speech)...???????
By the way...moose-breadth....Quayle had the news-cycle lifetime of a fruit fly......That in itself is of importance.

Pm

ALL you need to know about Palin FROM AN ALASKAN. It is all going to come out anyway so learn it here first.
Look around QUICK..the GOP is scrubbing the entire internet to shore up their story about her and things are disappearing FAST!!!!!!!
Can you say COVER-UP
This was a LAST second pick so they did not get to do it before she was picked. HURRY!!!!
Ooooo, a left-wing conspiracy theory. Most excellent. Who's behind it, Rove or Halliburton? Pray tell us more!
Like all left-wing conspiracy theories. this one has the liberal media behind it.
Listen to rush for some new material... yours is a bit out of date.
it is to late for the scrub lots of people have what they want to get rid of. Obama will not give her a pass because she is a women unless he wants to loose. All he has to do is tell the facts and you will see how fast this will harm the Republicans
I love it when Palin said " I don't even know what a V.P. does." OMG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WOW!
An old, rich angry Dem (What a picture!) sarcastically denigrating an up-and-coming female.
Should play well with women.
Steny Hoyer: gentleman, statesman, man of class,
Well, she's a relatively unkown Govenor from Alaska whose meteoric rise in politics has now elevated her to a Vice-Presidential nomination.
Now, on the other side, we have a rich, White lobbysist-bought VP candidate whose son & brother are being sued for bankrupting a hedge fund. And a VP candidate, by the way, who contradicts each & every thing the the Prsidential candidate claims to stand for. Check out "Countrywide bought & paid for" in Merriam-Webster.
Just trying to be helpful.
Republicans are falling in love with Sarah Palin and the NeoLibs are attacking her before they know a damn thing about her. This spells plenty of trouble for Obama.
Didn't he just give a speech or something. Can anyone remember what it was about?
I think it was one of those old school liberal speeches where the candidate promises everything to everyone, but it was so long ago I don't remember any specifics. Wait... I remember... there weren't any.
So ultra partisans like Hoyer take their marching orders to repeat what they're told.
Meanwhile none of them, and none of you, can point out any Obama accomplishments that support his "new politics" change facade.
And we see all the Repub talking heads conforming to the orders to spin the old guy's choice to make their party look good whether they really believe it or not!! Pathetic!!
Thank god for Rachel Maddow, who last night called Palin a "laugh out loud" choice. Perhaps the male democrats think they have to tiptoe, but women should be right out front saying the Empress has no clothes.
In your case it's ... Me-Yow.
In Rachel's case she's thinking ... Me-Yum.
Sarah also thinks man has nothing to do with GLOBAL WARMING
Clinton will slaughter her.She is still bruised over what was her right to the WH>She is not going to let this woman in to be the first female VP. It's 2nd wife syndrome..... the first does all the graft and the building up and the 2nd comes in , sits on her a$$ and reaps the benefit..... Clinton has her eye on her next run and she will not allow Palin to notch up any brownie points. This is going to be fun to watch....."Hold on to your seats... it's gonna be a bumpy ride!"
Sarah voted for the bridge to no where then when the heat was on voted aganist it. Watch her on video they tried to get rid of it but it is to late. Moose burgers , hunting, anti choice, creationist, wow she is pefect for the extreme right wing but not normal republicans.
Pailin nom a panic move!
Yes, PANIC has set in for the GOP. 38 million viewers, more than Chinese Olympics opening ceremonies and the last episode of American Idol, as well as a full cheering and shouting stadium of ecstatic Democrats has the GOP is stunned. The reality of a monumental loss of biblical proportions is staring them flat in the face and the prospect of decades out of power again! So what else could they do but pander, they do it so shamelessly, to the PUMA's. Of course the Pumas were of their own design, their creation to create disillusionment in Hillary supporters and convince them they can't vote for Obama because he beat their candidate who they say deserved the nomination. A devious plan of Rovian proportions, with multiple ways to interpret the facts and lead the listener down a path of their design. One small catch, Hillary supporters didn't buy it, Hillary supporters cared about the issues, not just gender politics, and I thank them for that. Well the GOP has been ( there's a nice thought ) telling this Puma lie over and over so long that they have come to believe it, and in a panic they choose their former beauty queen, no experience candidate.

list complement Warren Buffet he is backing _Obama.
It's a good thing SPELLING isn't on that list, eh?
OK fellow Dems, do not waste energy debating experience. Senator McCain has taken that topic off the table. Now judgement is another matter altogether. Palin is a heartbeat away from a presidency, placed there by a presidential candidate whose heart has beaten more times han any candidate in history.
I feel sorry for the paid GOP posters. They are having to work extra hard today to control the damage their nominee, McBush, wrought on their party by choosing someone so stunningly unqualified--and trying to make it sound as though they are thrilled with the choice.
How do I get one of those jobs as a paid GOP poster?
Can anyone say Harriet Myers? Heeheehee...
This warrants repeating:
Palin has more experience than Obama.
You can deny this, you can ignore this, you can rationalize this, you can feign ignorance about this, and you can lie about this all you want, but on the carefully made-up face of your political calculations, there sits this incontrovertible fact like a big honking zit on prom night. And it ain't going away.
Our vice presidential candidate is more experienced and more qualified than your presidential candidate.
So the more you want to discuss this, the better for us.
Your candidates, nutcases from States 48 and 49 are not going to convince the majority of Americans that they have our best interests in mind.
Good luck selling that garbage.
Well, we've got 57 or 58 to choose from.
Do you think that Plain knows how many states there are?
Are you serious? Being a hockey parent and ceremonial head of a frontier town (pop. ~7,000) and serving as Governor for 20 months qualifies as "more experienced" than Obama? Columbia and Harvard honors grad, President of the Harvard Law Review, more than a decade as a community organizer in Chicago (one of the 5 largest cities in the country), University of Chicago Constitutional Law professor, 8 years in the State legislature and 4 years in the U.S. Senate - that sounds like a LOT more experience to me. Not to mention there isn't a 4 -legged, fur-bearing creature on Earth she doesn't want to annilate for sport. I'm a 51 year old woman who would love to see a qualified women in the White House, but woman like Hillary Clinton did not make the sacrifices they did for a bimbo like Palin to slide into that historical slot.
IN YOUR DREAMS!!!!
This is the pathetic and desperate spin we started hearing immediately after McCain's selection. Just as laughable as McCain's choice for VP.
Your comments and those who are dutifully parroting the same message should all consider taking some classes at your local community college in how to write better fiction than what you've provided here.
Two timer!I'm telling Babs!
Anyway, thy're O.K......seen better.......
