On Thursday night's "Daily Show," as the official Obama biography video was screening at the DNC, "The Daily Show" aired a hilarious biography video of their own. It is set to music with a booming narration and full of tag lines.

"The earthly son of a goat herder and an anthropologist, one man seems ready enough-ish to lead...."

This is great! Obama should love this! Humour is so sorely needed in this election on Obama, McCain, the media (especially!!!), and ourselves. I could hardly control my giggling. And yes, I support Senator Obama for president.

I can't wait until you do a satire video on McCain. I always think of McCain as a less-dimensional Elmer Fudd on his hunting tours for the bad wabbbit and especially on those rare moments when Elmer John McFudd smiles.

Yea Yea Yea, Stewart has made his point that Obama is "touchable" and isn't some messiah that can't be made fun of. In the words of Obama, "I get it." But come on now Jon, you know how sleazy and low-life the republicans are -- they will use and twist your words and make them into something you don't really believe. Jon Stewart can't be held responsible for what the Republicans do. Stewart is a satirist doing his job, and a brilliant one at that.

I support Obama big time but that doesn't mean I think he should be off-limits for jokes. Mockery should know no party.

The New Yorker cover certainly was satirical, and within bounds. But, I really don't think it was funny at all. At the very best, it was provacative, but funny...na­h. You may be able to find a lot of people that agrees to support the right to put that on the cover, but I think you'd find it difficult to find people not against Obama that find it funny.
