While Madonna's away, it appears that Guy Ritchie is keen to make the most of his free time.

But does his famous pop star wife know that he's taking the children with him, as he relaxes down the pub?

Guy was seen leaving the Punchbowl pub in London's Mayfair with sons Rocco, and David, who was carried by a nanny as they left at around 10pm.

While wife Madonna has been bumping and grinding onstage in Berlin, Ritchie has been popping into the pub on a nightly basis, with one or more of the children in tow.

Nothing like a diet of Guinness and bangers and mash to keep the kids quiet while mom's away.

Those kids probably wanted Ice cream.. I'd be more worried that he is shagging the nanny!!

At least he didn't leave the kids home..

Can you blame him?

And in the U.K., it's not a deadly, immoral sin to take your children to a pub. It is a PUBLIC house after all.

How dare he!
What is this world coming to?

Big deal. You can take your kids to a pub with you if you live in England. This does not make Guy a bad father.

Poor Guy. Out on the town without a permission slip. He's now in a world of trouble with Vadge.

P.S. I dropped into a S Kensington pub recently but had to split due to the smoke. It was awful.

Clearly, both those baby boys are going straight to hell.

Children are allowed in pubs in the U.K. I've seen them in pubs on my travels to London many times.

USA folks, this happens all the time in England.... if you are with an adult, you can go to a pup... The nanny was there, who cares...

You can go to a "pup" meaning you can go to the dogs?

Yes this is a non story. A pub is not like an American bar. Whole families go together from grandparents to smaller kids. You see more inter-generational talking in England then you ever see in America. People go to pubs for food, they go to mingle with their neighbors and they go just to be with their friends like in an American bar. With many small towns the pub is the central meeting place for neighbors. People go there to drink but they also go there just to chat and catch up. With the alcoholic rates in England you could say this is a bad thing, but it certainly is a different type of mixing place than you find in America.
Just about every lunch I had in England I ate in a pub, and about half my dinners.
And I am a non drinker.

I do not know why you are chuckling....pubs in England are not the same as in the US I guess. People go and eat pub fare (fish and chips, etc). It happens in a lot of countries except....

This is a nonstory. Pubs are largely family friendly and more civilized in Britain than in the U.S.
