Palin In Pennsylvania: ''It's Great To See Another Part Of The Country"

The AP reports on McCain and Palin hitting the trail in Pennsylvania:

McCain and Palin made a morning stop at Tom's Diner in Pittsburgh's trendy Southside neighborhood. The running mates, with spouses in tow, greeted patrons and posed for pictures. Palin's daughters Willow and Piper were also on hand, with Willow carrying Palin's 4-month old son, Trig.

The first-term Alaska governor told reporters she was having fun in her new role. "It's great to see another part of the country," she said. She also said she'd managed to get a little sleep during the night.

John M must be really, really dumb. I think by this choice he has handed the election on a platter to Obama. He has done it in at least 4 ways: (a) showing his lack of sense in choosing this (b) wholly unqualified lady to stand next in line to the presidency, and (c) at the same time trashing his theme that Obama is "not ready", and (d) insulting the intelligence of female voters. And what does he gain? The right wing would have voted for him in the end anyway, so he gains very little.
BTW I am a christian and agree with Palin on several things. But global warming is not one of them. And if not stopped GW will kill more people than abortion.

Sarah Palin claims she managed to get a little sleep last now, but how about her 17 year old daughter? It seems Governor Palin does have some experience after all - if only in the area of delegating responsibilities. Apparently, the role of "mother to a special needs child" has been reassigned to her 17 year old - she was the one taking care of him during the initial news conference yesterday and Ms. Palin proudly touted to the crowd today that since it was the baby's nap time, her daughter was "on the bus" watching him. Someone needs to inform the Governor (who by the way, considers herself a "feminist") that motherhood didn't just entail birthing the child, it involves taking care of him herself and not exploiting the young females in the brood she already has.

There's been some speculation in Alaska that her teenage daughter may be the actual mother of the baby, and that Palin is only covering it up. This rumor came about when Palin didn't announce her pregnancy until her 7th month and she never looked pregnant, while her teenage daughter missed school for several months during the same period. Who knows what the truth is.... All I know is that there will more stories ahead about this freak show.

Where is the TV ad that shows Sarah Palin as Pro Life, favoring teaching Creationism in school, wants to encourage drilling in ANWR, thinks that International experience comes from living in Alaska because it's clos to Russia, hasn't earned the 18 million votes that Hillary did (how dare she think she's entitled to those votes just because she's a woman!) Saying, "What does a VP do?", Didn't support McCain in the primary.
