Angelina Jolie: I Would Act In French-Language Film

Hollywood star Angelina Jolie said she would relish the chance to act in a European film and may even be ready to take a French-speaking part in a few years, in an interview with a German magazine.

"No one has asked me yet," she told the Monday issue of Focus news weekly when asked if she would like to work on the Continent.

"It would really interest me -- there are more and more great films coming out of Europe and other cultures."

The 33-year-old American, who has nestled into a sprawling estate in the south of France with her six children, said that she and her partner, American heartthrob Brad Pitt, had been learning French for two years.

"When I can really speak it, maybe I'll try out for a French film in a few years," she said.

As is my way, I jumped from Entertainm­ent to Politics (or vice versa because, really... is it that much of a stretch either way these days) and it suddenly hit me: I now understand why McCain picked Palin....

to get Jolie's endorsemen­t... think about it... if Jolie had decided to go into politics..­. she would be Palin

1) 5 children
2) snowmobili­ng husband
3) likes proximity to other countries
4) gets perks with her job
5) has bizarre relationsh­ip with security/S­tate Troopers
6) speaks her mind and gives us way too much informatio­n

Yes, since nothing else about Palin makes sense, I have to say.... I think this is where McCain was really heading: that's my story and I am sticking to it.

Wow, that does make sense. Wonder why Mac didn't just pick Jolie. I'm sure she would have accepted and she comes equipped with a full set of worshipper­s and I'm not referring to her mammaries. Jolie at least knows some of those in power. But sadly enough, she lacks foreign policy experience - she doesn't live next door to Russia as Sarah P. does.

Finally saw Jolie in that Daniel Pearl film. That movie is the 911 Truth Movement encapsulat­ed. I love the part where the head of the Pakistani Intelligen­ce Service (ISI) hands lead 911 'hijacker' Mohammed Atta $100,000 the day before the attacks. Now WHY would he do that? Is she trying to pretend she's a regular bourgeois woman who wouldn't have every last director in France lining up to get her into their movie? That she couldn't name her own price, that they wouldn't work with a vocal coach on every last line to make it work?
