Fiorina: Dems "Hold Women Hostage" To Abortion

John McCain senior advisor Carly Fiorina dismissed suggestions Sunday that women supporters of Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (R-N.Y.) will turn away from Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) because of her anti-abortion rights views.

"The Democratic party has done a disservice to women by trying to hold women hostage to the issue of Roe v. Wade," Fiorina said on CBS's Face the Nation. "The truth is the most important issue to women, all the polls say this, is the economy. Women are not single issue voters."

McCain's choice of Palin as his vice presidential candidate electrified conservatives who like her views on abortion. Sen. McCain (R-Ariz.) also hopes choosing the first woman to appear on a GOP ticket will attract women voters, but Democrats have insisted Palin's views on abortion will keep Clinton supporters in the Democratic column.

Fiorina is an enemy of freedom - the freedom to choose. The criminals here are the anti-choice crowd.

No, we aren't single-issue voters. However, when the next president will likely replace 3 Supreme Court judges and the McCain ticket is EXTREMELY intent on ending Roe vs. Wade, you can be sure that in that situation, many women, myself included will absolutely never vote fo him for that one reason alone. Thankfully, they give us numerous reasons not to vote for them. Funny she should mention "hostage" though since the truth is that they want to hijack our rights.

Any woman who votes for this party has to be brainwashed. McCain also denies equal pay for woman. The list is endless on issues that prove their motives are to deny the rights of individuals, particularly women's. Fiorina should have learned her lesson when she brought up the issue of medical insurance coverage for Viagra and not birth control. McCain again was dumbstruck!!!

I agree! I live in "Silicon Valley" and Carly is very unpopular here. She nearly drove HP into the ground with her poor decisions, and personally, I lost money when HP stock tanked when she was CEO (as did countless others). She was fired for her poor performance. So her opinions don't mean much, given her lousy record.
