Biden: Difference Between Me And Palin -- "She's Good-Looking"

Joe Biden says there are obvious differences between himself and fellow vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, but they're not just on policy. She's good-looking.

"There's a gigantic difference between John McCain and Barack Obama and between me and I suspect my vice presidential opponent," Biden said at an outdoor rally Sunday, getting ready to hit the GOP ticket for their economic policies.

"She's good-looking," he quipped.

I love Joe. And what's more, he talks in ways that small town America relates to. Sarah is obviously attractive. What Joe said is considered a compliment all through the mid American rust belt. It's a good idea to let Joe be Joe as much as possible because the people he needs to connect with are connecting to him. That said, Joe will wipe the floor with Sarah on policy and knowledge. When he does, it will go down a lot better if people see him as the old sweetheart he is----before he eats her for lunch. Sarah Palin sees nothing immoral in forcing a fourteen year old girl, who got pregnant when her father raped her, carry a pregnancy to full term. But then, I suspect that, unlike me, Sarah has never been present when a child tried to give birth to a baby while her own body is immature. Sarah is a rigid ideologue who is always positive that she, and only she, is right on all things for all people. As a woman, Sarah Palin gives me the creeps.

I love it! Joe has a deft touch and can pull this kind of humor off. I'ma die hard Obama fan - I'll follow him AND drink the kool aid, gladly, but just by the virtue of who he is and how this country is, he couldn't hit this note. This, to me, is ultimately what Joe brings to the ticket - a humanizing effect. Their obvious "bro love" gives other white folks permission to see Obama the same way. I love the respect Joe shows him, something HIllary couldn't quite manage even in her most glorious speech the other night. Joe is happy to be a Supreme to Obama's Diana Ross and I love it!

How is calling a former beauty queen good looking insulting? I believe Joe Biden was simply trying to give a complement. Biden continued to say how good-looking Obama is. And we all have heard him talk about what a good-looking woman his wife, Jill, is.

McCain called Palin his "soulmate" and that isn't sexist?? Lighten up people Joe was kidding around and the dig was to him and his looks. As a woman I am more concerned that McCain picked a woman he hardly knows and immediately called her a "soulmate". That is patronizing at its best.

McCain looked at her chest continuously, during her introduction speech. Heck, he was transfixed. I know that look. I have looked that way many times. Watchout husband of Palin. McCain really meant soulmate as in SOULMATE. I bet McCain hug her as much as he can. I'd think women and men should be concerned about McCain's unprofessional actions. I also noticed that Palin is already uncomfortable with it.

Notice how for some reason we have to walk on egg shells when talking about Palin, no one stopped or told any of those fixed news types to be careful when calling barack a hafrican or saying michelle was baracks bitter half or angry half no one stopped them from ripping into Theresa Kerry in 2004 nor hillary in 92 and 96. its a clear double standard that repubs like to exploit. this fake outrage to everything thats said and we are supposed to back track and parse our words. We know part of politics is to be physically attractive thats why mitt romney and barack and john edwards etc are seen in the light they are, its why people put their families in photos because they look like they should represent our country. either we get rid of that standard of attractiveness or we stop giving one side more credit than the other
