I'm happy to say, Alaska is a wonderfully diverse state, with just about any ethnicity you can think of:) Unfortunately, some people (P Diddy) open their mouths before they know anything about the subject on which they are speaking, and give untrue info to the public.

Well, according to the census bureau, there are about 25K (self-identified) Blacks in AK, which is not zero, but is less than 4%. Dunno if that includes military.

I'm guessing there are at least a few crackheads (of all ethnicities) too.

I suppose what Diddy was trying to convey was that Palin hasn't had any experience dealing with varied ethnicities, or some of the more difficult problems of urban living, but he basically did come off like a fool. Probably not really helpful, since shortly we'll be hearing from the Repos that this is what Obama thinks.

Don't forget about our very own liberal, feisty, smart Geraldine Ferraro, who is the first female Vice Presidential candidate representing a major American political party.
