Coale

Newsweek:

John Coale, a prominent Washington lawyer, husband of Fox TV host Greta Van Susteren and a supporter of Sen. Hillary Clinton, announced today that he was supporting John McCain for president. Coale, who traveled with Sen. Clinton, President Clinton and her family through out the primary season, complained of sexism, and said the Democratic Party is "being taken over by the moveon.org types" in an exclusive interview with Newsweek.com's Tammy Haddad. He said he tried to prevent Clinton's brother, Tony Rodham, from attending an August 18th meeting in Scranton, Pa. with McCain campaign surrogate Carly Fiorina. "I urged him not to go and told him it would embarrass his sister, but he has a mind of his own." Coale says Mr. Rodham asked Ms. Fiorina "about McCain's Supreme Court picks."

The Clintons are basically Republicans. Bill spent the last seven years hanging out with Poppy Bush. It should not be surprising that some Clinton people are defecting now that they have no future in the Democratic party.

Okay, who needs him?

All of us Obama supporters who thought Carville was a jerk (well, he was) should change their tunes.

As I have already commented, Carville has made his max contribution to Obama (I think it was in June) and he is right now on Larry King Live brilliantly supporting the idea that Palin is unqualified, and doing it from the perspective that this is not about not supporting a woman (The McCain surrogate keeps trying to fall back on "you are insulting all women" in a lame fashion) and he disdains the idea that we need to drag in her pregant teen daughter because he is not questioning her as a mother (says he was a bit of a hellion himself with no blame to his parents) but rather because she is completely unqualified. He supported Obama quite will in describing the difference between them.

Carville, I take it all back.

Hillary is not the best surrogate in this case (we don't need to read the headlines "chick fight!")
I believe Carville is eating their surrogate alive and doing so calmly, brilliantly, and without sinking to their level.

Go Jimmy!

Frankly, I am tired of these so-called former Hillary supporters coming out and blaming Obama for any perceived notions of sexism. Did Hillary come out against racism? This thing was a two way streak - there wasn't just sexism there was also racism. This man has no real political beliefs and he obviously supported Hillary for political favors and now that he cannot maneuver his way into the Obama camp he went with Mccain because they are willing to trade favors with Clinton defectors.

Maybe Hillary needed to come out against sexism during her campaign. She and her supporters starting mentioning sexism when she was losing.

FOX'S Bill O'Rielly's wife is also rumored to be moving her support to McCain after supporting Hillary.

How could someone who really supported Hillary Clinton and her platform vote for McCain? Health care, Iraq, reproductive rights, the Supreme Court, etc. etc. There's no way that they were true Clinton supporters just in disguise

Good Riddance! If you only knew the Republicans that are going to be voting for Senator Obama. I'm sure we'll have a net gain!
