My First Convention: Karen Tumulty

We caught up with Time's Karen Tumulty (pronounced TU-mult-y, not Tu-MUL-ty, but she assured me that everyone makes that mistake, even members of her own family), and she graciously took a moment to talk with us about her first convention, what was exciting about it (Cuomo! Cuomo!), what's exciting about this year (for her and for her kids), and why Hurricane Gustav could change everything. I'm sure if we'd caught up with her after the news that Sarah Palin's 17-year-old daughter was pregnant, she'd have had thoughts on that, too.
