Rove: GOP Attack Groups Need Your Help

Political strategist Karl Rove, freed of his White House role, is encouraging major Republican donors to give their money to organizations that operate independently of the Republican Party and are poised to spend upwards of $100 million trying to elect conservatives this fall.

Mr. Rove, the architect of President Bush's election victories, has been telling Republican benefactors across the country that giving to official Republican Party fundraising committees will not be enough this year, according to people familiar with his pitch over the past few months.

They said Mr. Rove has regularly expressed concern that Democrat-leaning organizations such as MoveOn.org and labor unions could swamp the Republican Party's money machine and overwhelm the presidential campaign of Sen. John McCain, Arizona Republican.

McCain trashed the Media,, and the tide is turning. Even Wall Street is going GREEN,, the TRUTH of New Industries, New Companies, New JOBS for Americans, is too appealing. Ground Floor opportunities. The horror and lack of National Healthcare is breaking the back of Business in America. Ford, GM, 3M, IBM,,, where does Rove expect to find money and support? Exxon?

Hardly,, Exxon sees the GREEN too and is rushing to position its holdings to cash in on the changing economy. So are British Petroleum, Standard Oil, and Shell.

Karl Rove is reaching for straws.

I don't think that the RNC postponed the 1st day of the convention because they were sympathetic to
Hurricane Gustave and New Orleans residents....I think they postponed the first day becausue the lid is coming off their VP pick so fast and they are gathering together or by phone or whatever to figure out what they are going to do about this abysmal situation. My guess is that it will be suggested that she NOT accept the nomination for VP and they will move on to someone else. I don't think they have enough time before the election to fix the mess they have put themselves in and they are going to go to plan B real quick!
