Rove

Washington Times:

Political strategist Karl Rove, freed of his White House role, is encouraging major Republican donors to give their money to organizations that operate independently of the Republican Party and are poised to spend upwards of $100 million trying to elect conservatives this fall.

Mr. Rove, the architect of President Bush's election victories, has been telling Republican benefactors across the country that giving to official Republican Party fundraising committees will not be enough this year, according to people familiar with his pitch over the past few months.

They said Mr. Rove has regularly expressed concern that Democrat-leaning organizations such as MoveOn.org and labor unions could swamp the Republican Party's money machine and overwhelm the presidential campaign of Sen. John McCain, Arizona Republican.

Doesn't Rove's position with the McCain campaign preclude him from fundraising on behalf of 527s?

BS! The Justice Department is moving slow, because Bush and Rove stacked the JUDICIAL DECK!

Thank God for statute of limitations. I hope the Intel agencies are filling the rooms with evidence. These guys are so clumsy and imcompetent, they didn't know there is always a trail. I wish OUR Election and voting machines were that reliable. How dare they privatize our vote. Who the hell do they think they are?

For God's sake People, vote for your children not to be body bags in the future for a resource.

THESE GUYS CAN'T BE TRUSTED, AND ARE PROFITING OFF THE BLOOD AND TREASURE!

Keep swinging Obama!!! LOL!!! You're almost there, buddy!!! They have been trying to throw him off his game so he would shy away from his strength--large rallies and speeches. Instead, his campaign called their bluff and turned the celebrity tag on its head. They used a momemt of grand spectacle, and turning it into a call to arms and moment of national "truth telling" to an audience of over 40 million. LOL! That is what the GOP had tried to stop from happening all along and in the end, they couldn't. Obama played McCain, the media and the Rove tactics last week "my friends." He in turn, threw McCain off HIS game and forced Mccain into "panic mode," showing just how scary his decision making process is.

Obama just needs to continue running his game and ignore the distrations.

What ever happened to the good old days of slush funds, Karl..?

Come on don't tell me, you haven't got one...?

It's going to take more than Karl with a K Rove to pull their wreck out of the ditch.

Karl Rove, Rush Limbough, Hannity,---all their fellow "attack dogs" and GOP apologists should be listed right up there with Bin Laden for the damage they've done to the U.S.!---And they deserve the same punishment for the violence and chaos they've incited during the last sixteen years!

"So we're calling on all Republicans in the Mc.Cain tax bracket to donate generously to help victims of Hurricane O.bama, I mean, Gustav, which is having a devastating effect on our party, I mean, nation."

Why do the Republicans still pay homage to this man as a thinker and strategist? Of course, I saw Newt Gingrich was back "advising" Republicans a week or two ago so they'll listen to anyone. It was Rove & Gingrich at bound the Republican party forever to the Evangelicals for their Permanent Majority idea -- and hasn't that worked out well. I can't believe Rove shows his face in public, after having helped elect a president and VP so unpopular they're afraid to show up at the Republican Convention.

On the other hand, Madame Snowmobile will be there in all of her glory, longing for the days when people and dinosaurs lived on earth at the same time.

Thanks, Reptilian Rove.

Why pay homage? Because he can lie like a rug and they can say, "Who me? I didn't lie to you." And they know full well the impact of their lies, given a gullible American public who would rather rush to destruction than explore the issues. Geez. They don't get it that except for the rich few, they are bringing themselves down too.
