Rove: GOP Attack Groups Need Your Help

Washington Times:

Political strategist Karl Rove, freed of his White House role, is encouraging major Republican donors to give their money to organizations that operate independently of the Republican Party and are poised to spend upwards of $100 million trying to elect conservatives this fall.

Mr. Rove, the architect of President Bush's election victories, has been telling Republican benefactors across the country that giving to official Republican Party fundraising committees will not be enough this year, according to people familiar with his pitch over the past few months.

They said Mr. Rove has regularly expressed concern that Democrat-leaning organizations such as MoveOn.org and labor unions could swamp the Republican Party's money machine and overwhelm the presidential campaign of Sen. John McCain, Arizona Republican.

Isn't Rove an "advisor" to the McCain campaign? If so, his call for independent groups to raise $ clearly constitutes coordination with the McCain campiagn, which is not kosher. Then again, when did Karl Rove ever bother to follow the rule of law. Maybe his mistress can visit him in jail when he's finally brought to account for his serial crimes.

Dont get me wrong, but this guy is a genius. he masterminded two POTUS wins and numerous other races for elected offices. I just wish that there was a Dem equivalent of this man. Axelr0d? not really impressed. The rules of the game of politics has changed, we should start playing by this mans rules, I hate to say this , but this man knows how to win elections. We need to play rough just like this man.

What Rove is actually saying is he wants to turn loose the sleeze attack machine. McCain has alread started attacking Obama's two girls, I personally think that is as sleezie as one can get, but that is just my opinion. Any politician that attacks children in politics is a complete unforgiveable sleeze ball that truly needs their back side handed to them on a silver platter.
