Quick, send in Sarah Palin and her Bible to let her convert them all while they're in a state of serious need. After all, if the GOP wins, it would appear that Biblical diplomacy will be the rule of the day, as they will all be God warriors dying at the command of Jesus. She said it herself! No matter who says it, it still sounds insane! Too bad the philosophy is so real!

Sarah Palin is the Governor of one of the states along the Pacific Rim. Perhaps McCain thinks she's the most qualified person to deal with this crisis, LOL.

Anyone who thinks this year is business as usual is being fed the business. There is such a thing as spirit; the spirit of the world is stirring this year -- perhaps in a culminating wakeup to years past. The spirit of the world’s people is yawning while at the same time gasping in horror at the current state of affairs. This is playing out in conflict, turmoil, upheaval, calamity, and unrest the world over -- or it is just a string of disconnected coincidences? Acceptance allows for being at peace with either reality. It is going to be what it is going to be. We are hopeful for a good outcome but we are aware of the looming nature of doom.

Something is happening in our world is what Dr. King said forty years ago. We have made much progress in many areas since then. We have also engaged in many more travesties of justice since then, many more instances of “man’s inhumanity to man” since then. More lies have been told. More treasure has been stolen. More families have been destroyed through a system that is brutal in retribution for any stumble by an individual (that is an individual not of means).

A worldwide rejection of what is may be occurring right before our eyes. It is tragic and encouraging -- watching and being a small part of this awakening, as I travel my solitary journey -- as we all travel our solitary journey, of life lived.
