Outside the RNC, Arianna ran into Republican strategist Kellyanne Conway and asked her for her thoughts on Republican vice presidential candidate Gov. Sarah Palin. Conway's response offers a unique defense of Palin from a woman's point of view. Watch the video below.

First, there are rumors of an affair, but nothing has come of it...yet.
And John McCain, the self-proclaimed family-values dude who wants to lead our nation, has had an affair. He fooled around for 6 months while his first wife was recovering from a terrible accident. He admitted to it a long time ago, but it's been so many decades, that people think it' sok to act like he is perfect. People, just because he is old and looks like a grandpa, does not mean he was always a good person. When George Bush goes gray, will you automatically call him a saint? No, because he did very bad things while in office.

Well: according to the National Enquirer ( of late post Edwards revelations the newest favorite newspaper of the Republicans) one out of two ain't bad as she was reported to be having an affair with her husbands former business partner.

It seems that Sara Palin is not a golfer, that is true. However, the National Enquirer has sent a number of reporters to look into an "alleged affair" with her husbands partner.

If you google her and affair, you come up with a comment about John Meridith, a former city councilman with her. Any credibility to this story? Based on her track record it would not surprise me.

And yes it is our business. It is called credibility. Especially since she likely answered no to infidelity on the McCain vetting questionnaire. Recall recently we had a president who was impeached for lying. God knows we don't want to go through that again.

I know nothing of golf. I'm told that golf is a game of inches & the deft make good golfers. Being involved in an affair takes time, a tender, deft technique & love. Gov Palin may want to stick with hunting for a trophy or 2 for her home. One can take pride in such a trophy & display it to the public. Often one has a bitter-sweet memory of an affair which one can't share with others. The excitment of an affair & the sweet memories of an affair are a private thing.
