Time to ask a few simple questions: about the stuff that scares them spitless

why lie about the bridge? why keep on lying?
why lie about connections to stevens?
how could she sit listening to the venom being spewed by her pastor? does she agree with him?
does she believe the war in iraq is for oil - as she stated ? or is it for g-d - as she stated?
how can she justify once - perhaps still - belonging to a treasonous cult like the aip? and is it treasonous in her opinion to advocate for seccession?
what would she do on Feb 12th 09 if mccain is incapacitated/gone and the pakistani gov't is overthrown?
what is her position on the current policies of the world bank regarding global climate change and crop reduction?

The fact is that although Palin seems to be commited, McCain did have an affair. In fact his current wife is one of the women with whom he had an affair while being married to his first wife. I doubt that they would really like to open that can of worms.

Sarah Palin? Yikes, that's scary! (0.00 / 0)

It is an insult to Hillary supporters for Palin (who wants to teach creationism in schools and doesn't think humans are causing climate change, as well as being anti-choice and having a worse than dismal environmental record including wanting to drill in ANWR) to compare herself to Hillary's 18 million cracks in the glass ceiling. She is no Hillary.

It is scary that McCain is so impulsive. He met her once or twice, talked to her once, no one in his circle seems to know her either. The vetting team landed in Alaska the day before she was announced. Alaska Repubs are stunned that the campaign didn't talk to ANYONE in the legislature or business community.

McCain claims he is independent and that is why he makes such a pick as Palin - as a refreshing change. But independence is not the same as recklessness.

And it now comes out that:

1. Corruption-fighter? Palin was in favor of the "bridge to nowhere" until Congress killed it.

2. Patriotic? In the 90s she belonged to the Alaska Independence Party which wants Alaska to be independent and perhaps secede from the union... maybe become part of Canada.

3. Ethical? She just hired a private attorney to help her fight the charges that she fired her public safety commissioner because he wouldn't fire her sister's ex-husband.
