I Like ItI Don’t Like It

Outside the RNC, Arianna ran into Republican strategist Kellyanne Conway and asked her for her thoughts on Republican vice presidential candidate Gov. Sarah Palin. Conway's response offers a unique defense of Palin from a woman's point of view. Watch the video below.

golf...affairs...what? That's all they have? How about the laundry list of unvettable qualities? 527's, Troopergate, pregnant daughter out of wedlock(oops we're not supposed to talk about that) being a wingnut of the religious right, demanding oaths of fealty? They're dressing a legless doll.

As an American whose income derives from golfing, I am outraged by such a remark!

Seriously, I am dumbfounded by many of the reasons given why Governor Palin is an excellent choice for Vice President on the Republican ticket. Isn't it totally obvious that Senator McCain chose a female because the Democrats failed to, and also that the Governor's Christian and Conservative values helps unite Senator McCain with members in his own party that he has alienated in the past?

After listening to Ms. Conway, I believe that the Republicans need to vet their strategist.

One can only hope there are enough Americans in extreme pain from 8 years under a Republican regime, that this woman and McCain will be rejected in the November election. America is a land of stupid people, very stupid people, so it is not going to be easy.

If Palin is so ready to be Vice President and is said to have more experience than OBama - why is she being tutored by Bush Aides right now??

A LA times story reported that a Republican with close ties to the campaign has said that Palin's selection was a rushed decision and that she was vetted at the last minute.

This is supposed to comfort us? We have the first VP candidate since 1860 who thinks the union is a poor idea and this is the best the republicans can do?

That is a very weak defense of qualification.

Oh so that's the criteria now? Well heck I don't play golf and have never cheated on my spouse and never would -- I set my bar way to low, stupid me I should have submitted my resume! I'm having a grand old time watching the republicans try and defend this womens lack of qualifications.

That was my thought... and that she can't really be serious (not all men play golf and not all men have affairs. I know at times golfing and having affairs appear to be ubiquitous among politicos but honestly the political class hasn't quite reached that level of degeneration)

Notice she didn't bring up Craig, McC, Newt or any of the others in the long list of repub philanderers. Not that i have anything against philandering. I do, however think hypocrisy is a bit of a no-no.
