I Like ItI Don’t Like It

Outside the RNC, Arianna ran into Republican strategist Kellyanne Conway and asked her for her thoughts on Republican vice presidential candidate Gov. Sarah Palin. Conway's response offers a unique defense of Palin from a woman's point of view. Watch the video below.

Country first? The issue is experience and national security?
If they win, we'd better all pray to our maker that J.McC. doesn't die.

On the other hand, maybe the Rethugs aren't worried about it because they'd just hide Dick Cheney behind the curtain and he could continue to run the show, just as he's done for the last eight years. Sarah (The Perils of) Palin would just be the pawn in front of the curtain.

It's really not funny. This woman could end up President of the United States and be asked to confront the conflict in Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Russia, Georgia and Israel... and that is a short list. She would be asked to lead our economic recovery and switch to clean energy sources. She is going to be expected to be Commander in Chief of the most powerful military complex in the world. It is not relevant that she has 5 children except that it is a statement about what she has NOT been doing. She doesn't have the education, experience or judgement for the job. McCain has slapped American women in the face with this nomination which is laughable. He actually thinks women are stupid.. obviously. And those women at the RNC who mouth the lines of the party are not feminists and they are doing nothing to further the changes of ANY woman in the future being taken seriously.

Barack Obama hasn't had affairs either--and he's only got one house.

And John McCain can't play golf even if he wanted too. Bur lord knows when he was with Daddy Bush, he rode a golf cart in his 500 dollar shoes.

Seeing as she according to the republicans has more experience than Congressmen and Senators then she should be made the presidential candidate and McCain the VP.
Right republicans?

Have you noticed she says that Palin doesn't play golf "like these other men"...?
Is there an assumption lurking in her heart that candidates are necessarily men, perhaps?

assumptions don't lurk, in your heart or anywhere else

the candidates are almost all men and almost all caucasian

That seals the deal for me. Not a golfer. No affairs. She is over-qualified to run this country!

Playing golf is legal, and heh, her daughter had the illicit affair, which means that Mommy wasn't living up to her Family Values thing by being an involved, observant Mommy.

That's a brilliant philosophy, you're doing alright as long as someone else is doing worse than you. Let's put the Republicans in charge for another 8 years and someday America can say, "so what were not a super-power anymore, at least were better than the Philippines."

I don't know about the Philippines...maybe Mali or Chad.

Trying to blow the golfer vote now? Golf is as bad as adultery?!

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 10:36 PM on 09/02/2008

Yeah, especially when you keep hitting Foul shots because your strokes are bad and you keep trying but you just can't hole it...
