I think Dems walk around in a stupor too often attempting to appear to be fair, and Fox's constant accusations of "liberal media bias" have them literally questioning themselves, so they routinely criticize themselves and their colleagues.

The simple honest fact is that the media is Not biased against anyone. They are supposed to seek the truth and deliver it to the people.
The fact is the Repugs controlled congress for 13 yrs till 2006. They had the presidency from 2001 to current.
They made so many gaffes, mistakes, inappropriate touching, committed so many crimes and immoral behavior, got caught on the take by the dozens, that they deserve nothing but being grilled like a hamburger for it.
When the Dems are in power, the Media hammers them too.
Always has.
The Media's inherent job is to speak the truth not speak biased.
The truth is that hte GOP is corrupt to the core, and lies daily. Period. Theres nothing biased about telling everyone about all the corrupt and immoral things the repugs do and calling them out on lies.
The Dems are only minorly corrupt - mostly Murtha.

But in response to their lack of confidence in themselves the media has repeatedly gone after the Dems about he dumbest most rediculous things including GOP talking points like Brokaw does in his Fixed news auditions.

That was very interesting. One point I think was skipped over though was Arianna's point on truth in the old media. If I watch a debate on almost any news channel, they will present both sides as giving equal time, but the moderator needs to do their job as a journalist and point out factual inaccuracies. It's not a matter of opinion whether Obama is a Muslim (or Arianna's global warming example) - it is a fact that he is NOT a Muslim. The journalist has to stress this and to a great extent it is this lack of responsibility that has turned me off television news. A very interesting discussion though.

Also, did you hear Tucker Carlson say that comments are hurting the country? That was what Jon Stewart accused him of when he went on crossfire (it's on youtube). Don't know if he phrased it that way on purpose.

Does anyone realize there are SIX STORIES about Aria--a on here right now? Count them for yourself.

Seriously, she needs professional help although I doubt that will work because nothing helps people who are narcissistic anyway.
