Broadcasting & Cable:

According to CNN, Republican presidential nominee Sen. John McCain (Ariz.) pulled out of a scheduled interview with the network after a segment with Campbell Brown and a top McCain spokesman Monday night in which Brown asked for examples of a foreign-policy decision made by Republican vice president pick Sarah Palin.

McCain was scheduled to appear on Larry King Live, but CNN's Wolf Blitzer said Tuesday that the campaign told the news network they thought Brown's interview with spokesman Tucker Bounds was "over the line."

What is this? This is proof that they can't defend her so they will just ignore anyone who asks them questions about her. I think Campbell Brown did a wonderful job interviewing Bounds, and all he could do, rather than answer the question, is bash Obama. It's both pitiful and pathetic. I'm just trying to picture Palin answering the phone at 3:00 a.m. - gives one a very creepy feeling. Be afraid - be very afraid!

If they can't face Cambell Brown I could never trust them with running this country.

Phil, actually Obama said 58 states not 57. We all know Obama did not
campaign in all 50 states. The reference to 58 states was based on the back
and forth traveling, entering a state than leaving that state and then re-entering.
He revisited several states 2 & 3 times and a few 4 times. PA OH IN CO TX IA etc.
I hope this cleared up any confusion.

Yeah, he really thought that. It wasn't the 50 states and 7 territories that he visited that gave rise to that. it was the 57 Islamic tribes that only exist in your ilk's tiny brains that he was referring to.

I think its nap time Phil. I hear your mother calling. Or maybe lesson time to learn the numbers that come after 3.

Over the line?! I think not! If the media had the balls Brown had last night to ask the tough questions about the war perhaps we wouldn't be in the circumstance we are in now. Thank god campbell was willing to put it on the line to do her job as it should be done, its not Brown's fault that tucker was completely clueless and made an arse out of himself.

It wasn't over the line, but he and his running mate are in over thier heads.

It was over the line. She was suggesting that Palin wasn't a good mother because she accepted to be the vp candidate. I don't see those questions being asked to men. She's demonstrating to her daughter that a woman has to stand firm to those type of attacks. Maybe Obama or his wife should be staying home to raise their two young daughters. I don't think they should & neither should Palin. I'm voting for McCain period but this line of questioning is purely sexist.

Wrong. Tough guy Tucker couldn't name a single decision Palin made as alleged "commander in chief" of the Alaska National Guard. Tough Guy McCain is afraid of Larry King, afraid to have Bush and Cheney at the Convention. How's he going to stand up to Putin and Iran?

Further, I do not believe that this interview changed your opinion, I think you are a Republican anyway. Hiding too?

I watched the interview she never once implied that. Tucker was a wimp who couldn't take it and ran to daddy..

Quit your pouting Republicans.

Poor Tucker wasn't prepared to answer a straight forward question that even Sarah would have seen coming.

Over the line? Hahahahahahahahaha!!!

If you guys can't answer a simple question about what foreign policy experience your VP nominee has, how can you make the argument she is ready to lead from day one should it come to that?

What a bunch of babies, can't do anything more than repeat the talking points ad nauseum, and if you ask them to answer the question then you are crossing the line. I'm feeling more and more confident every day that Obama/Biden will win by a landslide against these crybabies.

Notice the mouths of Gloria Borger, Campbell Brown, Roland Martin, David Gergen, John King, fatso Crowly and Anderson Cooper: all shaping into a "BIG O" by the day ...

Yeah, I watched that interview. I thought Campbell Brown WENT EASY on the McCain spokesman. Other than pursuing one question for a bit (ultimately relenting without her answer), she basically gave Tucker Bounds airtime to put polish on a pile of nothing. It's one thing if McCain can't stand steady media scrutiny, it's quite another when the press is so ADHD that they themselves can't stay on topic anymore.

Well, this shows that McCain has great strength. He is ready for anything that might come his way as President...as long as its not uncomfortable.
