Broadcasting & Cable:

According to CNN, Republican presidential nominee Sen. John McCain (Ariz.) pulled out of a scheduled interview with the network after a segment with Campbell Brown and a top McCain spokesman Monday night in which Brown asked for examples of a foreign-policy decision made by Republican vice president pick Sarah Palin.

McCain was scheduled to appear on Larry King Live, but CNN's Wolf Blitzer said Tuesday that the campaign told the news network they thought Brown's interview with spokesman Tucker Bounds was "over the line."

When Palin was mayor of that teeming metropolis of Wasilla, Alaska, pop. 6800, she made all employees SIGN an oath of loyalty and put a gag order on them all, barring them from speaking with the media without her prior permission.

Now she and McCain are trying to put a gag order on the American media. Rots O Ruck, Sarah and McSame.... the American media is just getting started.....

McCain shows himself to be a spoiled brat - it's my way or I go home! This is what some people want to run the country? Don't ask serious questions or I'll have a tantrum? Very immature & unstable, certainly not fit to be a leader. A true leader can answer important questions, not run from them & whine, as McCain does.

Who does this guy think he is? We, the American people, expect answers and accountability from him. WE ask the questions, and he'd better answer them. Maybe this rebellious sassiness worked at Annapolis or with the citizens of Arizona, but we aren't going to play his childish games. I've got news for John. He doesn't make the rules.

Marrig, the Repubs have been writing the rules for every election and get away with it every time. The media always reacts with the same guilt, like a puppy caught peeing on the carpet. I for one am fed up! I want to start seeing some backbone here somewhere. God that red party is so full petulant jerks - and yet people still fall in line every four years even when they have no better leader than GWB. In the words of Charlie Brown: Aarrgh!

Isn't that what Obama does? He refuses to debate McCain in a town hall style debate because he knows that his bumbling speech will make him look like an idiot compared to McCain.

"Only hours after CNN said McCain pulled out of the interview with King, ABC News announced that it has "the only interview" with the candidate during the Republican National Convention. That will be Wednesday night (Sept. 3) with Charlie Gibson for World News, Nightline and Good Morning America (Thursday morning)".

Guess it's time to ditch ABC now into the Faux news arena! LOL Sara Appaling is working real hard for the GOP!

It's McCain's way to throw ABC a bone, seeing that they get no debates.

Hang in there media. Don't let them bully you around. They owe the American people answers to all those questions. I thought Campbell Brown was very fair and deserved an answer to her question and not just "spin."

Guess John won't be on Letterman either, as Dave spent a few minutes last night just scratching his head over this decision

Wouldn't it be a kick if Larry King had Obama on in place of McCain.

Well, one can dream, can't one?

Palin was member of party calling for vote on Alaskan secession from US

Revelations about McCain's running mate for vice-president raise questions about his selection

.........Yet it is the AIP's motto, "Alaska First, Alaska Always", that may cause the most trouble for McCain. The Republican's campaign slogan this year is "Country First".

Similar to John's Slogan "McCai first, McCai always" - all his decisions are done for his self-interest first, not what is best for the country

It's time for the media to push back and not have McCain or his surrogates on. Relegate them to the sh*tfest that is Fox News.

I love you dumocrats. Obama is too much of a wuss to do townhall meetings, because he cannot have a teleprompter to give answers. AAAA,,uuuuuu I think, uuuuuu that's above my pay grade, I have been to 57 states now. NO teleprompter = EMPTY SUIT

The "straight talk express" has become the express train to nowhere.

Time for sane leadership, time for competent leadership, time for a leader who represents the cares and concerns of the American people.

Time for Barack Obama and Joe Biden
