GOP Crowd Boos NBC (VIDEO)

The folks over at MSNBC have become political scapegoats for the supporters of the candidate opposing Barack Obama. In the Democratic primary, backers of Hillary Clinton often quipped over what they deemed as unfair and often sexist coverage. In the general election the animosity between the McCain campaign and the peacock network has also spilled over into public.

So it was with as much humor as surprise that the crowd at the Republican Convention derided the network during the midst of vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin's speech Wednesday night. After the Alaska Governor ridiculed the media for conflating her outsider status with being unqualified, the crowd stood up in applause... then boos... then derisive chant.

"NBC, NBC, NBC," they declared, pointing their fingers at the Networks filing center in the stadium. It was a sharp moment during a wildly applauded address. The media, indeed, has become the uniting foe for the GOP.

I've seen almost nothing of the stories about Palin's lies discussed this mornings news shows. I've seen nothing about the double standards between the attacks on the Obama's family and the false charges of attack on Palin. I've seen nothing of the flip flops that Rove, Lieberman, Palin and McCain have made regarding their positions of experience ib Hillary, Obama, or the issue of national security. I've seen nothing on the truth of the big differences between what Obama has accomplished in his life for far more people than Palin. I've seen nothing discussed on the war, health care, education, jobs, energy, the rule of law, the environment, the right of free speech and assembly or the goal in the constitution to form a more perfect union. Palin should not be given any kind of a pass what so ever, because she is a mom. It is a farce to pick this women from out of a small state to be a heartbeat away from the presidency and rush her into the job as V.P. McCain should have picked someone from the among the candidates who ran in his party or at least someone with more of a national presence. This pick is an insult to both democrats and real republicans who really believe in country first.

As far as I'm concerned Count Down is the only show that you can get a liberal prospective on things, because much of the MSM is in the tank for the republican party. MY Take on last night.
This is only the beginning of something that is about to get really ugly. I hope our Democratic politicians, the Obama campaign, and the American people have the stomach for it because this is the Republican mindset of not bringing a gun to a knife fight .... but a nuclear weapon.
They are ready to throw everything into this including race, sexism and a war with the "liberal" media that they have been framing for years. They want to take Obama down at all costs. They have nothing to lose with their "End of Times" politics and potential end to their Party for a decade.
This is the beginning of "scorched earth".
While we type our complaints about the lies they will tell everyday they will be preparing more lies and sizing up electronic voting machines in key districts of targeted electoral states.
Don't be aghast at what they will do because the penalty is an Obama concession speech on Nov. 5th and 4 more years of this and Palin running for President in 2012.
Contribute, volunteer, and/or join a "Register to vote" drive.

That was actually begun by the Clintons (i.e. (race) Jesse Jackson won SC, (sexism) during the debates it was "all the boys" ganging up on HRC, (media) Gov. Ed. Rendall stating that Fox news gave a more "fair" portrayal of the Clintons than did MSNBC...so don't blame the Republican­s...the Dem's blazed that trail!

lose and regroup for four or eight years.

Every speech last night was full of lies. They don't care. Democrats spend so much time nobly researching facts and Republicans don't concern themselves with facts. bias, the danger is the corporate bias.The advertising dollar determins the degree of information you
receive during prime time news.The same as congressman are lobbied by special interests who are

Should people not be concerned that even during the race to the White House McCain and company are trying to muzzle the press? Dropping out of an interview on CNN to punish Campbell Brown for asking sincere, legitimate questions about the VP candidate ... questioning McCain's rational and judgment. This has undertones of Bush/Cheney/Rove manipulating the press and intimidating and punishing anyone after 9/11 who questioned their judgment and rational which then gave the administration a free pass to begin an illegal war that's brought the country to its knees. This isn't China. Let us remember that ... before all freedom of speech is denied us. Journalists and citizens alike should hit back hard at this attempt to manipulate and muzzle the press once again ...
