Brawl At Ravinia
The normally genteel Ravinia Festival was disrupted Saturday when a brawl broke out over lawn space for a sold-out Donna Summer concert, the Tribune reports.
After setting up their blankets, chairs and a tarp, a group of concertgoers left for a restaurant. Witnesses told police that later, a second group tried to wedge into the same spot, and when they couldn't fit, moved the original group's belongings. When the first group returned to find their spot taken, a confrontation ensued that included one woman trying to attack another, police said. A man from the second group--Anthony Delgado, 40, of Chicago--allegedly punched a 49-year-old Arlington Heights man from the first group, police said.
The 49-year-old needed 15 stitches on his lip, police said. Delgado was charged with battery.
