Newsweek:

The McCain team has hastily assembled a team of former Bush White House aides to tutor the vice-presidential candidate, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, on foreign-policy issues, to write her speeches and to begin preparing her for her all-important Oct. 2 debate against Sen. Joe Biden.

Steve Biegun, who once served as the No. 3 National Security Council official under Condoleezza Rice at the White House, has been hired as chief foreign-policy adviser to the Alaska governor, campaign officials told NEWSWEEK. After taking leave from his job as vice president for international affairs at Ford Motor Co. last Friday, Biegun flew to St. Paul and, together with McCain's foreign-policy guru Randy Schuenemann, began briefings for Palin on national-security issues--an area where her resume is conspicuously thin.

Pay attention, now Sarah. Today's lesson: how to sell an unnecessary war. First you wrap yourself in an American flag...

Can you say mushroom cloud?

If you can learn enough foreign policy in a month .. to be President.. then McCain's experience does not count for much! And besides his experience has not led to the right decissions yet... Nor Chenny

Why gamble on whether or not Obama/Biden will be a disastrous administration when McCain/Palin guaranties it?

I feel sorry for Palin because she is really a pair of empty panty hose. And the GOP= Gender Card Party!

This is the kind of anti-female writing that will lose Florida and the Midwest ! We should support
successful women! Especially when someone rises to governor and candidate for Vice President
of America. Can we please talk about the positive things about Obama/Biden and stop all the demeaning anti-female rhetoric. Even if they are Republicans! I am a Hillary supporter and would
like to vote Democratic this election. But these postings are making me think twice!

I think you are missing the point. The BUSH ADMINISTRATION is teaching Foreign Policy.

There was NOTHING anti-female in the prior comment.

ANYONE taking foreign policy advice from Duhbya's gang is in sorry shape indeed.

You want to be a female voting for a female? Fine. Just don't lay it on legit criticism of Governor Palin's gaffes.

I'm sorry, but any Governor who didn't even have a passport until recently is no winner on the foreign policy front. She probaly thinks they speak Latin in Latin America... as did Dan Quayle.

Really? I definitely will not support a woman, just because she's a woman. Sorry - it's not a qualification. And Sarah Palin has belief and value system that I don't want to be near. Anti-female rhetoric? Yes, there's definitely some of that out there. And if you think it's limited to the blogs and the Democrats you are leaving a very, very, sheltered life.

As a woman...a mom...and a professional I can say this isn't anti-female writing. You should know better. The woman is NOT qualified and we aren't going to start acting like we are walking on eggshells. Even Palin herself said (of Hilary Clinton) NO WHINING.
That goes for you too!

Vote for the team that fits your beliefs. There is a huge difference between Team Obama and Team McSame. Do not vote based on the remarks of the Huffingtonpost readers...vote off of the issues.

Good luck with your vote choose wisely!

Yeh I hope they tell her the difference between Sunnis & Shi'ites while they're at it better get McCain to sit a spell and brush up on the lessons too... Oh never mind he will play is POW ace in the hole. McCains deck of cards have 53 cards; 52 to deal and that special POW card up his sleeve.
