..on your third point, you mean just as she said the I-raq war is a task from God...for Sarah Palin to go out there and smack down community organizers in the guise of attacking Obama just shows she has no idea who the common people she claims to represent really are.
Watching Palin's rapturous speech last night was an awesome experience, my friends. For the first time in a long time I got a great night's sleep because I finally felt assured that the conservatives were going to win this election.
Unlike the impure elites, Sarah Palin can:
a) Summarize a complex issue in a sentence particle, instead of the long winded elite vacillation that goes on in snobby academia. This is what America wants, I mean real America, small town America.
b) Connect with the common man/woman who love a good smack down in the name of righteousness. Watching her and Giuliani go after the liberals last night was like watching pit bull attack a poodle, sheer fun.
c) Keep God in her heart. When she says "God Bless America," we have the evidence that she means it and means it good. One of her pastors said, in front of her, that "Alaska would be a refuge for the lower 48 states in the end days" and I now agree with him.
I always thought Christ would return to smite the liberals, mounted on a white horse. Now I'm convinced he will ride in on a pitbull wearing lipstick.

If Palie is an example of a Christian woman who believes in G O D, only G O D can judge her or do you only refer to the scriptures that benefit you?

for one, i just wish he could take off the comedian hat and actually go after an interviewee. i know that's not his job, but darn it, he could have just stopped Newt and said "JUST ANSWER THE QUESTION I ASKED YOU. IS THAT SO HARD? DON'T TRY TO CHANGE THE SUBJECT!"
But it seems I'm asking a comedian to do a journalists job. It seems like the journalists of our time are happy to let Jon do their job as well. It's pathetic.

I do wish that Jon Stewart and his writers would join the Obama staff. They are fabulous with fact consolidation.

They all know that the Daily Show is way over their heads.
They don't DARE try to take it on without Rush or O'Reilly holding their hands.
It is an impossible position for them. Arguing against themselves basically. What is so beautiful is these were all issues that THEY brought up, either in smear ads against O or speaking to journalists. That's the problem with messages that change on a daily basis, based only on what suits them at the time.
Jon (as always) nailed them for the hypocrits they are and continue to be!

Great stuff. I remember seeing the Rove interview on Meet the Press when Gov. Kaine was on. He responded to that very well also, saying that Virginia government s getting results, something that doesn't seem to matter much to Repubs.
But i hadn't seen the O'Reilly double speak. Does this make Bristol Palin a "pinhead" and Sarah Palin an "uncaring parent"? Hadn't seen the Dick Morris stuff either, that guy is a clown.
And to top it off, even McCAIN's CAMPAIGN is double speaking -- saying Hillary shouldn't whine about sexist remarks if she wants to play with the big boys,.... exactly what the Republicans are doing now.
They are just trying to put a nice face on 4 more years of economic and foreign relations policies that have crippled our economy. The price of oil itself is only so high because we went into a stupid war, which McCain supports, in an oil-producing region. I hope the American public has wisened up since the last election.
