Why is it that it appears the Daily Show and Colbert Report don't back down from politician's threats and the MSM is so afraid of them? The job of the press is supposed to be the filter for truth vs. lies - to keep the politicians and our leaders "honest". Since when should this burden be put on our comedians and comedy shows?
The hipocracy, however, is hilarious! EVERYONE should see this.

by cutting through the B.S. and keeping them honest, John's on his way to becoming our next Tim Russert! Politicians will be scared to be on the Daily Show and will have to extensively prepare - or just be honest from day 1 and not have to worry.

Why is Jon Stewart the only one who will point out the glaring hypocrisy here? The Republicans have been responsible for some of the nastiest attacks on Hillary (and young Chelsea) over the last 16 years.

Jon Stewart was brillant last night. Pretty much ripped the lid off the GOP with their own words. Then he torched Newt about Palin's hypocritical stand on choice: her family gets to make a choice, but put me in the WH and I will take away your's.
