Jon Stewart Hits Karl Rove, Bill O'Reilly, Dick Morris On Sarah Palin Hypocrisy

Wednesday night on "The Daily Show," Jon Stewart hit Karl Rove and Bill O'Reilly with damning evidence of their hypocrisy regarding Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin.

While Rove recently praised Palin's experience as the mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, Stewart showed video of Rove trashing Virginia Governor — and former Richmond Mayor — Tim Kaine's executive experience, listing all the cities that are bigger than Richmond and calling such a pick "political."

Then, after recent video of O'Reilly describing Bristol Palin's pregnancy as a family issue, Stewart showed a clip of the Fox News host blaming Jamie Lynn Spears' parents for her teenage pregnancy.

Finally, after showing video of Dick Morris complaining about the rampant sexism in the media coverage of Sarah Palin, Stewart unveiled a clip of Morris saying that Hillary hides behind the sexism defense, and that anytime "the big boys" pick on Hillary, "she retreats behind the apron strings."

"In Dick Morris' defense," Stewart said, "he is a lying sack of sh*t."

If they would only show this kind of stuff on the regular networks so all can see - I've been watching them and I knew they were hypocritcal liars - all of em - the networks, CNN, MSNBC and FOX have been dropping nothing but leaflets on us filled with lies - I hope Rachael Maddow's new show will give us some real truth like the Jon Stewart Show - thank goodness for truth somewhere -

The Dailyshow,,,,I wished the networks would learn a few things from Stewart and the like. You'll never see anything like that on CBS, NBC or ABC and that to me is truly a sad state. When the public has to look to a comedian for real reporting of lies and deceptions perpetrated on the American people, it is a sad state. Rove has succeeded.

The people who need to see this most won't - they'll be watching Fox. I've decided that there's no point trying to help them see anything beyond Bill O'Reilly's face or the "Lump of Dough Head" Rove that's hypnotized them - we just have to out number them, surround and conquer them with a bigger vote. Okay I just don't get it. People who watch Fox News tend to watch a lot of it. Especially O'Reilly viewers, they tend to be pretty religious about catching him. I know there are some viewers out there who only saw one segment and not the follow up in which these men make complete hypocritical fools of themselves. But there must be plenty who DID see both clips, especially the O'Reilly one. How do people keep WATCHING Fox when they do stuff like this??!! Are they just so stupid and bigoted that they honestly think that standards should be one way for the right and one way for the left, or what? Anyone have any opinions that could shed some light?

I have never seen people who are so blinded to reality. I was in the airport and stopped to watch a clip re: last night. It was Obama nicely stating that yes, he would defend his own record, but he wouldn't speak for Sarh Palin (the reporter asked him to compare his qualifications to hers!!! Can you imagine a reporter asking HER that???? Ofcourse not!). Anyhow, it was really early and I was the only one standing there; and this oaf walked up behind me and started spouting of fhis opinion. He said, "HA, he is so UNBELIEVABLY UNQUALIFIE­D." I was shocked and turned to look at him. I asked "Obama?" and he sneered and ridiculed him and laughed at him, then walked away with this smug, hot-snot look. I was so shocked I didn't know what to say, but I gathered enough steam to yell out at, "Oh I guess you've been Pres. of Law Review at Harvard?"He heard me but just kept walking. So typical of these folks. Say something just totally weird and run like h ll.

I don't care what anyone says. It is Obama's race that is bringing this out. He would never have said that about a White man with Obama's qualifications.
