A video that was supposed to air at the convention last night was just made available to Fox news. It's a short biography of Sarah Palin prepared by the RNC and it describes the two-year Alaska governor as "a self-made giant."

God, this woman makes me sick. She is a phony who uses her kids as props (tough the one she keeps mentioning who is going off to Iraq is nowhere to be seen). I hope people wise up to her BS ASAP.
All candidates at a convention appear with their families. It is appropriate for the occasion and Obama and Biden both did it.

Has anyone else noticed that the background music is a sampling of the theme from "Dallas?" They changed a few notes and slowed it down, but it's definitely the "Dallas" theme song.

Is it just me, or is the theme music from the 80's prime time soap Dallas playing in the background of that video? Wasn't that show also about big oil (wo)men, too?

Does your husband have a male business partner? You can start establishing your bona fides as a maverick by having an affair with him. If you're one of those "abstinence only" people the mother part will likely happen by and by.
The moose hunting part will be a little harder. Come to Anchorage, hang out in some bars and let the guys know you want to hunt moose. I'll bet you be on your way to moose country within 48 hours.

The way to get the truth out there is to get more volunteers stepping forward to help the Obama campaign, and more donations coming in, to counteract the spending advantage that the McCain camp has had.
Go to http://www.barackobama.com and make a donation right now, or go to your local Obama campaign headquarters and ask what you can do to help. And try to make a few posts around the internet, encouraging others to do the same.
Last election, Republican corporate interests outspent Kerry 2-to-1, and yet he very nearly won. As a result of OUR loss, every American racked up $7,000 in government debt for the estimated cost of the Iraq War... and that doesn't include deficits created by giving tax cuts to the very rich.
You can't afford to not donate to the campaign! It will cost you, your family, and your country too much to sit on the sidelines this time.
Take a break. Stop fretting.... and start showing some excitement and energy again. Get active, because *THAT* is what's going to make all the difference!

You are so very correct. We should all stop wasting time posting jabs at McCain/Palin and spend our time and resources to get Obama/Biden elected. Yes that means getting up from the TV and computer and doing something besides ridicule the other ticket.
Obama and company have run a spectacular campaign so for, so we have no reason to believe that won't continue. Contrary to some posts here, this election is not in the bag. We all have to do our part. There are plenty of opportunities to help out with the Obama/Biden campaign. Volunteer, make calls, write letters to editors, talk to friends and family, anything you can think of.
This election is not Obama's to lose; it is for us, his supporters to lose. Let's not lose it for him! He wins--we win!
