A video that was supposed to air at the convention last night was just made available to Fox news. It's a short biography of Sarah Palin prepared by the RNC and it describes the two-year Alaska governor as "a self-made giant."

I never heard anything of the earmarks she proposed yet now is against. McCain was against 3 of them in fact. Not a word that she exports much of the liquid gas when her state (country) is starving. She was FOR the "bridge to nowhere" before Stevens got in hot water for it, then she was against it.
She's against anything other than abstinence only policies. Anyone want to take bets she changes her stance to match McCain's stand on this topic?
She line vetoed a $20 million allotment for the creation of wind farms as alternate energies. She's all about the oil folks. Drill it and ship it should be her motto.

Why isn't the media exposing her ties to the Alaska secession party? Her husband was a member for seven years and video from AIP indicates she was a member.
We fought a civil war over secession. Her views contradict everything the Constitution represents. And to put it in simple Faux News terms: Why does Palin hate America? Why would anyone vote for a traitor?

Why is the media saying this was a great speech? It was nothing but non-stop attacks. Americans still have no clue who this moose eater is. She lacks substance and her views are so right wing, women will suffer. I cannot emphatize with this woman. I just cannot understand why the media has now gone so light on this self proclaimed pit bull.
Let's not forget that while we can admire mavericks, they are prima donnas who think they deserve special privileges. Also don't forget that mavericks were often rustled, shot and eaten, or killed by predators--all because they wandered off on their own away from the group. Power comes from unity with the group; you lose power and security by going off on your own, like an outlaw. Now, whether or not McCain or Palin are mavericks is another issue-- they seem to have been bought hook, line and sinker by the oil and other lobbying groups.
