A video that was supposed to air at the convention last night was just made available to Fox news. It's a short biography of Sarah Palin prepared by the RNC and it describes the two-year Alaska governor as "a self-made giant."

Okay my bio: Independent who leans liberal/dem, thought Hillary would have made the better president, but have fallen for Barry O's charisma (I was a baby when JFK was shot and feel this may be the Kennedy "hope" experience for me). Ton of respect for McCain for service/heroism but feel he/his henchmen have way overplayed that card. As a stay at home dad I feel a connection w/Palin but think the family card has been abused as well. And she's just a trophy anyway.

well for whatever reason you choose to go down this path we do not need too. It sounds sexists and there is plenty of other qualities that we can attack like her pork barrel things she has gotten for the state money that the country can ill afford and she is proud of it, or her pending investigation in to abuse of power, or being associated with an illegal 527, or her helping a group that wants Alaska to succeed from the U.S. We have plenty of fodder to use against her and pertinent to the job she will be assuming. The family is pretty much irrelevant. Of course if you want McCain and her to win just keep on the sexist and family attacks and she surely will. Lets stick to the issues ya noticed in her speech she did not say one thing about the economy. Gee I wonder why, is she like McCain? She also has no clue about the economy?
You can write whatever you feel, and I'll write as I feel. If you choose not to go down this path......

obama votes "present" more than 130 times at state senate, what a spineless politician, he was voted in by his constituents to represent them and vote on behalf of them yet he failed to do so, our country needs real leaders not this political snake

Care to back it up with a VALID link? Because saying something does not make it true, I know that is what the republicans told you to think, but the rest of us have minds and we prefer facts rather than fairly tails and until you can provide proof of your claims they are just that fairy tales.

I am amazed in reading the adn.com, Anchorage Daily News, that the commentary blogs aren't pro Palin at all, as a matter of fact, there are more scandals up there that the press hasn't even had time to cover. There are 4 MORE investigations, there is the use of the state plane for family use, there are the airlines tickets for the family, there is the use of public funds, supplies, etc while she ran for lt govenor, there is SO much you could pick a scandel a day.
Also, if her brother in law was such a bad father, why is the son still with his trooper father and NOT with Palin's sister?

The Father used a taser on his ten year old son.
Apparently, the step-son wanted to find out what the it feels like. So he put it in the lowest setting and tasered him, which by the way the mother was present and saw when it happened. So, it's not like he's physically abusing the son.
They only complained and made a big deal about tasering him when they were getting divorced.
