Sarah Palin's youngest daughter Piper is just six, but she proved a natural in front of the cameras at the RNC and rallies as she waved to the crowds at every opportunity. At one point while her mother was speaking at the RNC, Piper held her baby brother Trig and was even seen licking her hand and smoothing the baby's hair. Scroll for that video.

Just gross..so not only is his immune system under attack from the THOUSANDS of strangers he's being suddenly exposed to...now his head is covered in her germ filled spit. Poor Trig.

When my son was born, the doctors told us not to take him around large crowds until he was 6 months old...to many germs could trigger an autoimmune response(immune system overreacts and attacks everything, including the body itself).

Notice how she looked into the camera before doing anything "Cute"? She was playing to the camera. That spit was GOP staging.

Also, I kept thinking..­.poor little girl, she'll have her own baby in ten years. (I hated myself for thinking it)

Obama's kids seemed more surprised and amazed at seeing their father on screen & never looked into the camera, making it a more natural moment.

and then, I was waiting for him to take the baby back from Piper but he left her to hold him for so long! Even an adult would have sore arms after holding a baby for a period of time, can you imagine for a little girl?!

That Little girl also her older sisters are very use to caring for this baby. I have seen them with the baby more than the mother and the father for that matter. They are a very nice looking family. I don't care what anyone says. When you, especially a mother has to work there are sacrifices that have to be made. If you are so fortunate to have a nanny, or can afford outside childcare you still are sacrificing something, Alot of times when women have older children and have to work the smaller ones become a ward ot the older ones. It has been done for ages. These kids seem to be use to this and will be confronted with their situation more than ever now. Looks like their Mom will be on the campaign trail for the next 60 days. I wish them well. The two older girls did not seem as happy. They barey smiled at all.

It's been noted that the choice of Palin undercuts the republican charge of inexperience against Barack. But I think it also takes the steam out of the charge of the "funny" name. Compared to Track and Trig, Barack almost sounds ordinary. And Piper? I wonder if Sarah is a closet fan of "Charmed."

All candidates have used their kids for props since I can remember, but I always felt they were off limits on EVERYTHING, cause I know the reason I would never run for office is I wouldn't want people attacking my family. I thought it was a cute moment! I laughed when I saw it and immediately thought of my friends and I caring for babies in our families when we were little. Every child feels a surge of responsibility when you get to hold the little ones.

While it did tug at my heartstrings, it will not get me to vote for McCain/Palin.
