Cab Crashes At O'Hare
A cab driver has been cited after crashing into a building at O'Hare Airport on Friday morning, injuring two people in an upstairs office area.
About 9:40 a.m. Friday, the cab ran into a building containing a restaurant at 10000 W. O'Hare, according to police News Affairs Officer Daniel O'Brien.
A Checker Cab ran into a building that has a restaurant on the first floor and some type of office on the second floor, according to Fire Media Affairs spokesman Richard Rosado.
The restaurant was not damaged but two people inside the office area could not get out after the crash, because the door would not open and there was no other way out. Fire crews had to break a window and bring them out, Rosado said.
