Senator Barack Obama will increasingly lean on prominent Democratic women to undercut Gov. Sarah Palin and Senator John McCain, dispatching Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton to Florida on Monday and bolstering his plan to deploy female surrogates to battleground states, Obama advisers said Thursday.

Mrs. Clinton's campaign event in Florida, her first for Mr. Obama since the Democratic convention, will serve as a counterpoint to the searing attacks and fresh burst of energy that Ms. Palin injected into the race with her convention speech on Wednesday, Obama aides said.

This can be HRC's finest hour. Her opportunity to show her patriotism and leadership in a way she may never have imagined. Same can be said of her 18M supporters. It is imperative the Democrats unite to undo the evil already done to every American.

I think it is highly likely that Hillary will attack Palin on issues just as she attacks McCain. The focus should be more on McCain and probably will be. It is highly unlikely that Hillary will attack Palin on personal issues. It is highly unlikely that she will attack Palin's family in any way whatsoever. She is better than that.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 11:23 PM on 09/06/2008

she doesn't need to attack her family - family is personal (unless you're Palin attacking Obama's family) - Hillary needs to attack Palin's policies, her misogyny, her extreme anti-humanist views. Most women do not want Roe vs Wade overturned. Palin/McCain (or Palin Huckabee when McCain drops dead) will see to it that the Supreme Court makes the current one look weakly liberal

get out there, support the Democrats and stop playing piss-ant games...

Can you hear me now: How the Democratic Party saved the American Constitution and our beloved Republic from the GOP scoundrels, Or We can't hear you: How the Bush administration with sycophants like John (the Bush hugger) McCain tried to destroy America by being a Palin in our arses.

The saga continues... You write the final chapter.

Finally! As much as Hillary rubbed me the wrong way during the primaries, I'm stoked for her return and eager to watch her take back those 18 million cracks that are rightfully hers. Here is her chance for redemption, if she's up for it.

Redemption? For what? You have that right, those 18 million cracks are hers, but were curiously stolen from her in Denver. Hmmm? How'd that happen? Talk about window dressing and putting lipstick on a pig! It's still a dog and pony show! The far left, like the far right, has kidnapped their parties and made it unrecognizable to those who have followed for years and years. Come moderates...join us independents!

Anyone with a brain knows for sure that Hillary will do what is necessary. She certainly does not want McCain/Palin to win. Hillary is supposed to be the first woman president, not Palin. So, Hillary has a stake in Obama winning now!

Obama's chosing Biden over Clinton opened the door for McCain to pick Palin. While I agree Palin's resume is thin, I think Obama's is just as thin. It's one of the reasons I supported Hillary. I think the dems will lose in November because our candidate is inferior. I don't know what the DNC was thinking when they decided in the backroom to support this guy. And Biden as Veep? Yawn. Besides, we're voting for President, and when Obama is compared to McCain many will vote for McCain because Obama is too inexperienced. I'll probably end up voting for Obama in Nov. I wanted to write in Hillary's name, but I decided that if Obama needed my vote, he would get it. But if he were ahead by 15 points I would do my write-in thing. But because of Obama's mishandling of the Veep selection and his lackluster response to the republicans, I may have to hold me nose and vote for him. God, I can't stand this.

Its simple:

"John McCain and his Republican cronies have made a mockery of the economy, our standing in the world, and our national security."

- here is what I'm going to do about the economy (2 sentences)
- here is what i'm going to do about our standing (2 sentences)
- here is what i'm going to do about national security (2 sentence)

Done deal.

Isnt it possible that just maybe Hillary Clinton is a true Democrat. Maybe she sees Obama as the better choice and really does want to help him win. I know it sucks Hillary lost but thats over. She is smart (remember) and is doing whats best of the counrty and not what may be best for her 4 or 8 years from now.

All of a sudden, he needs Clinton to save him... Last month, she was not even good enough to be vetted as a possible Veep, back in the primaries, he treated her like dirt and all of a sudden he needs her. If I were Clinton, I would come down with the flu for the next 3 months...

Pardon me, but it"s not that Senator Obama needs Senator Clinton; it"s what"s needed to be done in order to save our country. No more Rats in our White house¦ Sarah Palin is a phony, liar, and crook just like the rest of the Band of Fools.

Shows you how desparate BO is. The Clintons are laughing at his predicament. They will end up giving him the shaft after all is said and done. The Messiah campain has turned into a big Mess.

The Clintons are not as dumb as you; but if they were as dumb, and they are laughing at his predicaments, they'll have plenty of time ( 4 years ) to laugh even harder when McCain wins in November. They'll have a ball living under Bush's 3rd term.

She declined to be vetted. She didn't want to go through the paper work. He didn't deny her the consideration.

He didn't treat her like dirt. You are angry at what you perceive as slights from the press. But it wasn't Obama who did it if it was done. And there was plenty of dirt heaped on him, but I guess that doesn't count.

And she said that he wanted to see the primaries through and at the end she would do all she could to put a Democrat in office. She said she was going to be there to help. He's not arm wrestling her. And she's not doing anything that he wouldn't have done for her in return.

It does no good to tell you this though.

get a life. all members of the democratic party leadership need to support the candidate. according to your reasoning, it is okay for the republican leadership to spread lies and filth about obama but only obama can defend himself. really?

That's good, that's very, very good. But don't forget to send Kathleen Sebelius on the road, she should also be stomping a lot, she represents the rural America Sarah Palin tries to appeal to, and in a very much wiser way.

obama is going to 'dispatch' hillary. reid refers to palin as 'shrill' what is going on in the DEM party. have they all become sexists? if this keeps up, obama is going to lose by a landslide.
