Tobey Maguire And Sam Raimi Sign On For "Spider-Man 4"

It's time to end once and for all the rampant speculation. Sony doesn't want any info to leak but I'm told that both star Tobey Maguire and director Sam Raimi will be returning to make Zodiac screenwriter Jamie Vanderbilt's script of Spider-Man 4. Sources tell me that Sony has recently locked in both veterans of Spider-Man 1 through 3.

I guess Sony is mad because they got beat by WB the dark knight. Sony wish to make a great movie like the dark knight.

Spider-man 1 = decent good
Spider-man 2 =great
Spider-man 3 = crap

That follows a pattern. Star Wars, Godfather, Die Hard, etc. After the third film the point most often is to simply wring a the last remaining money out of the concept before it dies. I hear somebody's trying to make a 'Godfather 4" film. Bad idea. Very very bad idea.

Spider Man 3 was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Everybody cried. Seriously. Also, will they please kill off or at least recast Kirsten Dunst? She has to be the worst actor of her (or any) generation.
