John Bush

Well, that's the end of the Republican National Convention. Quite a night! Quite a message! That's a lot to absorb, but let's let Tom Ridge summarize the big takeaway from four days of McCain's coronation.

[WATCH.]

TOM BROKAW: But the fact is, governor, that you have had eight years of a bush administration and a lot of Republicans in Congress for the last eight years, so why wouldn't the american people say, look they had their shot we're going to change?

TOM RIDGE: Because John Bush - because John McCain is very much his own man...

Hear that? John BUSH. Bet all you people calling him "John McSame" feel pretty stupid now! FOUR MORE YEARS!

Well the nation is faced with a choice...

the bio's of each person over the past two weeks have been interesting, and each of them are great people.. with wonderful Life stories. that's great... we know that people who have come thru things are what all the Candidates chronology shows..

after the story is said and done.. the Gas price is till high, the mortgage companies are still functioning as if they are stuck on stupid... we are still fighting a war we never should have been in.. and there is nothing to win, in the war, because Iraq is it's own country.. so what are we trying to win.. we certainly won't get to colonize them, we won't get to control their oil, and we won't get to dictate their government, nor will we get to set up military bases all across their country.. they will not convert nor be converted to Christianity, and when they get tired of blowing up each other they will stop on their own.. Saddam is gone, no WMD... what is there to win.. what is the obsession about winning based up.. what is to be gained with a concept of win... will it mean the US controls Iraq, does it mean US claims the Oil... does it mean the US can have military control over them ..does it mean they submit to American Government Policy and follow Laws of the American Courts.. ??

And check out the unemployment numbers
I read that almost 10% of mortgages nationally are currently in arears.
How is the housing market goiong to do when people are loosing their jobs?

People are already losing their jobs and that is part of the untold story behind the Mortgage crisis. The dumb ignornat MSM has the public thinking the problem is a sub prime problem and only dumb people are in trouble because they didn't read their mortgage terms.

We are in the middle of a perfect storm of economic bad news. Wait until OIl shoots back up for the winter heating season.

ENOUGH!!!!

And this man was the governor of my state.

Way to go, Tom. You're part of the reason why us Pennsylvanians are "bitter."

Loved it. Ridge spoke the truth. Cheney and Co. of lobbyists have found themselves another good ole boy to play their game. Bush McCain same thing. Sock puppets for the Repugs.

Stupid Republicans. Outside of their pit bull w/lipsticks deceitful speech they came out of this with NOTHING! This party is pathetic. No one knows the message b/c it's all over the place and if this country elects the same band of losers to ruin our lives for another 4 yrs, I will lose it. John McCain should be in someones mental facility NOT a presidential candidate!

That plus the audio clip of McCain saying he was running for the third bush term should be used in a commercial.

I'm currently writing a screen play-(not of a political nature) but if I wrote a scene like this, the critics would call this type of dialog, "unbelievable," "not based on reality," a cheap shot to move the story forward." Non-fiction is so much better than anything we can imagine!!!

Whats funny is just how many other republicans are thinking the exact same thing. As a Democrat if Mc Cain is elected at the very least it would be 4 more years of the same, if not worse than the last 8 years.
