Biden needs to hit harder than he hit on MTP this morning.
It"s not about what you DON"T know about Palin, it"s about what you DO know. We know she:
1) supports earmarks that John McCain finds wasteful spending.
2) is extreme on abortion rights and wants to overturn Roe V. Wade.
3) doesn"t believe in science or global warming.
4) believes God should tell her how to govern, fight wars and write policies.
5) is against equal pay for women.
6) is pro-censorship and would ban certain books in libraries across the country.
7) has flip-flopped on guns and abstinence .
8) does not have any foreign policy credentials to speak of.
9) and her husband flirted with Alaska"s secession from the Union.
10) Finally, we know she's itching for a fight. Dems need to answer her wish.

The "opportunity to ask questions of her directly" will not be forthcoming on a public venue. She will appear at pep rallies with McCain and alone but, she's not going to appear on Sunday morning network shows.
The same response was broadcast on all shows this morning by representatives of McCain/Palin. They let America know this morning that Sarah is going to remain an Unkown Unknown.
Here's a question I'd like to ask McCain; Of all the qualified people in America, why would you select an individual to run alongside you for the Executive office of America with an individual who is under an ongoing Ethics investigation ? Regardless if the person is innocent or guilty, the fact that an ongoing investigation will culminate prior to election day leaves you with a 50/50 chance of complete failure.
Why risk the future of America on a 50/50 risky option?
If Sarah Palin can't face the American press what would she do if she suddenly had to meet Putin? What would the response be? "Sorry she's not up to speed yet." Palin versus Putin would be a joke.
The only people who are impressed with Palin as a hockey mom, moose hunter, pit bull with lipstick are Republicans.

If she is ready, then where is she? If she knows foreign affairs, why is she studying? I fully believe that in the PTA, as a mayor, and as an 18 month governor she is ready ... so let her out. What are you afraid of?

Ask her any questions about the differences between Sunni and Shia, the history of the region, the Russian/Georgian conflict, Pakistan, Afghanistan, etc. and you'll get republican talking points -- no indepth knowledge.

It appears that Governor Palin is not ready to appear on the Sunday talk shows or any talk shows where she would have to answer questions without a script.
It will be interesting to see how she performs in debate with Senator Biden.
P.S. - to be fair to Palin...my wife only had two kids instead of 4 or 5. And (knowing things can happen) she taught my daughter about birth control. So my daughter is an English major at the University of Georgia instead of being barefoot and pregnant.
