Ed Koch Backs Obama Because Of "Scary" Palin

Politico:

Former New York Mayor Ed Koch, who endorsed and worked for George W. Bush in 2004, is endorsing Obama today, NY1 first reported.

I asked Koch just now what prompted the move.

"The designation of Palin to be vice president," he said. "She's scary."

He said he was alarmed by the report that she'd triggered a conflict with the local librarian in Wasilla, Alaska by inquiring about the possibility of banning books.

Thank you Mr. Koch. Nobody else (Clinton and Biden) seems to want to help Obama fight/attack the Republicans. It's so sad that he's having to do it all. I thought that Biden (so-called attack dog) and Hillary would have his back. It seems that they are only putting daggers in it. I smell sabottage.

I hope Biden will squash Palin in debate. I was not very impressed with the vice-presidential debate performances of Al Gore versus Dan Quayle nor of Edwards versus Cheney. They pulled their punches and were not forceful. (It's tough not to look very good against Dan Quayle.) Biden needs not to be intimidated the fact she's female. She might be rallying her base but we need to rally ours.
