Meghan McCain Today Show Interview: My Dad Was "Notoriously Rebellious, Not A Good Student, Dated A Stripper" (VIDEO)

Meredith Vieira interviewed Meghan McCain about her new book, "My Dad, John McCain." Vieira questioned Meghan about why she included the tidbits that her father was rebellious and "not the best student " in her book. Meghan replied, "Because it's one of my favorite things about my dad, that he wasn't running for president since high school, you know, he was not a good student, notoriously rebellious, drove fast cars, dated a stripper, like, I think it's hilarious."

"No one knows war like John McCain"....??? I was a small child during WW2 in England....our home was distroyed, my father killed and many other friends and relatives lost; my husband was a Marine in Viet Nam and came back after horrific experiences; my son and only child is leaving for his third mission to Iraq leaving behind three small children.
I know a little bit about war....................I considered voting for Mr. McCain until the RNC. I was so sad at the nasty, small and petty tone of most of the speeches. Sarah Palin seems to be on the side of war, guns and killing especially in that most sportman like method of shooting wolves and bears from a plane.

I want peace for my grandchildren; a clean and beautiful planet and a strong respected America.

Why isn't the mainstream TV media reporting that Sarah Palin was the director of a 527 group that was organized by Ted Stevens, the U.S. Senator from Alaska who is facing criminal charges? Read below for an excerpt from the article in the Washington Post:

ON INTELLECT:
I am flabbergasted each and every time McCain boasts about graduating "5th from the bottom" of his class at the Naval Academy. Is this something to be proud of? His running mate attended how may schools in how many years toward her college degree? What ranking could she have possibly had?
Then we have Barack Obama, a double Ivy Leaguer who was also President of the Harvard Law Review, and taught Constitutional Law (as does his running mate). Joe Biden has his undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware and his law degree from Syracuse.
This is not celebrated, acknowledged or respected for what we should be able to naturally assume at minimum these men bring to the table - just from an intellectual nee academic perspective.
My concern is the dumbing down of America to its detriment. We are no longer as competitive as we should be, which makes it more difficult for us to compete in the global square.
I hope that Americans will give due consideration to who they vote for which includes education and experience!
